  • "Lovely house, perfect for family holiday, great outdoor space for kids and ample parking, thoroughly enjoyed by all"

  • "Extremely clean property but front bedroom smelled very damp and this did not disappear all week."

Had to swap rooms with son who has asthma. Not great at all. Also some minor maintenance issues such as door catches and bathroom lock need to be sorted. Nice outdoor space. Did not report damp as we had an issue with a TV last year and it took all week to sort so did not expect any sort of adequate resolution.

  • "We loved this property and it had everything we needed for our family."

The garden was lovely with the bonus of a Seaview. It was impeccably clean when we arrived. My only negative was the sofa bed upstairs was extremely uncomfortable for 2 adults to share for a week. We are looking to book again for next year and if this could be replaced it would make our stay completely perfect :) Thank you!

Hi Sally, Thanks for the feed back, will be looking to update this over the winter break so expect to say farewell the sofa bed soon. Many thanks for the feedback, Samir Property Owner

  • "The house was great location and good space."

Outside space is excellent. Since we booked the beds had been changed so the unfortunately kids couldn’t have separate beds and had to share doubles rather than split twin beds. (This has changed from photos on website) Had also changed in terms of not supplying linen so this had to be done at an extra cost which I feel a tad stingey given the expense of the property for the week feel it should be included. However Miranda provided a very efficient service for the linen. We had a great week In abersoch , very fortunate with the weather and the house generally had everything we needed.

  • "The Palms was spacious and clean."

The kitchen was very well equipped. My only slight gripe was the sofa’s were not overly comfortable but that certainly wouldn’t stop us booking again.

About the location

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
