  • "We had an absolute amazing time at Ty Ni in Abersoch."

The house was beautiful, very clean, warm and cosy. We wanted for nothing. There were 3 generations and a little dog holidaying. All were totally provided for, with a downstairs bedroom and bathroom next door, for my 89 year old, limited mobility mother. The position of the house was fantastic and so convenient for the Village, pubs and beaches. We have nothing to complain about and will hopefully return again next year. There was a slight problem sorting the heating out when we arrived, but the owners couldn’t have been more helpful in quickly helping to rectify the situation. Pippa x

  • "A lovely house in a good location, close to the beach and the town, but very quiet."

Good selection of games which we enjoyed playing with the children. A problem with a light switch was dealt with promptly.

  • "We had 5 adults staying in this lovely home and had plenty of room as the house is plenty big enough for 8 people."

It is very well equipped and we had everything we could possibly need. Any previous comments in reviews have obviously been addressed by the owners as a fence has been built to ensure the safety of any dogs and small children. Can highly recommend.

  • "We had a lovely week here!"

The pictures advertised don't do this home justice, very spacious yet homely! Kitchen fully stocked with equipment including slow cooker, scaled, pans etc - making it easy to cook for the family. Garden is beautiful - we didn't use due to time of year but furniture + BBQ available. Rooms also spacious + lots of board games left for families to play , great having washing machine + dryer for wet days + outside + inside machines to dry clothes or again lovely home + would stay again. Thank you !

  • "Perfect location for us, really great house."

We take lots of trips in cottages so are experienced and habe s few suggestions to improve. 1. Kitchen, no tea towels and no tin foil. Adding would make the kitchen perfext. 2. Downstairs double bed has a plastic sheet on and some sort of foam topper, this is really uncomfortable and makes you sweat, get a new matress. 3. Some towels were not clean and had engrain stains, chain these. 4. House opposite neing developed, we moved bedrooms due to the early morning noise. 5. Garden, we have a dog so an enclosed garden would have been perfexr.

Thank you for your feedback, and I am glad you liked our house. I would like to respond to your suggestions: 1. There are usually plenty of tea towels, so I will flag this with the cleaner. 2. All of the beds are new. We have waterproof mattress protectors to ensure hygiene for all guests, and they are covered with material protectors to avoid feeling sweaty. If there wasn't an additional material protector, I will flag this with the linen company. The reason for the foam topper, is that I find the mattress too hard, but my husband thinks it is fine! You were of course welcome to take the topper off for your personal comfort. 3. I have flagged the stained towels with the linen company as this is not acceptable. 4. We cannot account for our neighbour's building work, but I am assured that they don't usually start until after 9am and the external work is now completed. 5. Part of the garden will be fenced off by the end of 2022. Property Owner

  • "We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

It was disturbing to be told of the dangerous drop, having come with a dog and small children. It should be noted in the website. Also to only find out upon arrival of the dog being limited to a certain place

Tucked away in the village of Abersoch, moments away from a sandy beach, is this detached holiday home, Ty Ni.

Enjoying a large lawn and settled on the Llyn Peninsula, this attractive home is ideal for a group of eight.

Be greeted by private parking before making your way inside to discover the sitting room, climb up two steps and admire the warmth of the woodburning stove and settle down on the sofa with a cup of tea.

Moving through the property, locate the pale grey kitchen, hosting all the essentials for a self-catered stay; once meals are prepared enjoy them together in the dining room and make a toast.

Throw open the patio doors to savour the final moments of the sun on the furniture or to stay in the warmth, whip out a board game for some family fun.

Be sure to make use of the utility room, where you will find a washing machine and tumble dryer, which can be out away in the bedroom of your choice.

Choose between four bedrooms to rest your head, with a double and a twin on the ground floor and a double and a twin on the first floor.

Awaken tired eyes with a hot shower or indulge in a bubble bath to relax your muscles before joining the group for a cup of coffee in the conservatory.

A short stroll will lead you to the sheltered Traeth Abersoch Beach, a great spot for watersports with its clear water and in the afternoon, you can tee up at an expansive golf course before enjoying dinner at a beachfront eatery.

Ty Ni is an excellent position for exploring the Llyn Peninsula, rich in Welsh culture and boating impressive views of the coast, as well as the sprawling beach of Porth Neigwl and the 16th-century Plas yn Rhiw.

Venture to the town of Criccieth, home to quaint tearooms, an ancient castle and lined with Victorian terraces for a taste of the town's past.

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
