The newborn lambs on the doorstep made a very enjoyable sight first thing in the morning. Cliff is a great host. Even at the busiest of times for him, he always found time to chat. Will definitely return.

Lots of things to see and do in the area, but if you fancy a quiet day then sit in the sun room looking at the views or sit in front of the log burner which are both relaxing. Cliff is such a great host and always found time to speak with us even when he was busy attending to his sheep. Will be back again sometime.

The cottage is just like the pictures if not better. Everything was kept in good order and to a high standard and the property was very clean and well presented throughout. Cliff was a great host and was very friendly and welcoming on arrival and departure and gave some great tips on places to visit. Would recommend to anyone. Only issue we had was we were not sure how to operate the main oven (top oven was fine) or whether it was out of order? Overall had a great stay!

  • "Myself and family plus Freddie the dog enjoyed a two week holiday in this cottage at the beginning of June."

Well, where do I begin!? The cottage is in a fabulous rural location but within easy reach of Tremadog (Spar) and Porthmadog (Tesco). The cottage itself is fantastic, immaculately clean, a well equipped eat in kitchen and lovely sun room from which we enjoyed fabulous sunsets every evening (we had two weeks of absolutely glorious weather) and the views of the mountains and sea were breathtaking. It has a patio and well enclosed garden which was great for Freddie - who loved the owners dogs especially Lucky! I must say that Cliff the owner is a fantastic host always on hand should you need him, has a wealth of knowledge and he also left us some delicious Welsh treats to enjoy on our arrival. There is so much to see in the area, including the local steam railway and we also climbed Snowdon! All in all we had the best relaxing holiday and would definately love return in the future. Thanks again, Cliff!

It was clean and very spacious with stunning views out of every window. The property had everything we needed and more. Our favourite place to sit was in the sun room with its breathtaking views. The views are outstanding and the garden areas are lovely for the children to play and watch the sheep over the garden fence. We stayed during lambing season and loved seeing all the little lambs everywhere. The owner is a really nice man who greeted us on arrival and left some nice welsh treats for us to eat inside the property. It is nicely based to explore Snowdonia, Anglesey and all 3 zip world locations, without having to travel to far. I would love to go back one summer or at Christmas for a cosy break.

Staying in March we weren't expecting the best of weather but once inside the cottage after a day out we were nicely insulated from the wind and rain, especially with the central heating and large log burner. Being lambing season we didn't get to see Cliff the owner to much but on the occasions we did he was only too happy to tell us some history of the property and area, just be aware that he has a goose in the field next to the cottage who can be very vocal and has no idea of the time, so if you're a light sleeper you may want to take some earplugs

Its a very steep narrow road and when you don't know the area not easy especially after a long journey. There are three gates to open and close and no shop or pub nearby. The property whilst accepting pets does not have a dog safe garden and so each time our dogs needed to go out it had to be on a lead or risk loosing them.Plus it is next to a farm. This also meant no doors open in the warm weather. We also experienced sheep in the garden(and mess after)also sheep dogs in and out of the garden. Not relaxing. The property was well stocked and clean.Good washing machine, cooker and fridge plenty of utensils and crockery. The property would benefit from blinds in the conservatory as this was unusable due to heat and also at the lounge windows as unable to see when sun streaming in. The property has a superb position for stunning views.

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, there was plenty of space to relax in and very handy being all on one level for our less mobile mums. Its location was perfect for all area's we wanted to explore and I would highly recomend Dylans in Criccieth for a meal out. Having lost our dog prior to our trip, we were so happy to be able to meet and pet the farm dogs, old Roy, Cae who is just about the most intelligent dog I think I have ever met, and little 3 month old Sam who's just fascinating to watch learn the ropes hearding the flock. And there's Goh, Goh, the goose is happy to have a conversation with you. And not forgetting Cliff the host who offers a warm welcome and lots of information and history about the farm and surrounding areas. We are sorry for keeping Cliff from his work, everytime we heard the quad bike we went to look for him as he was so intresting to talk to. A truly wonderful experience that we will never forget. Be welcomed into the sitting room, where you are immediately drawn in by the woodburning stove, which sits within the stone-built fireplace.

Look forward to relaxing into your evening by sinking into the plush sofa to tune into the TV or unwind with a good book in hand, whilst the fire gently fills the space with tranquillity or retire to the pine framed, glazed conservatory to enjoy those views, long into the evening.

Continuing to impress is the well-equipped kitchen, where you will find everything you could possibly need to cater for yourself, including a washing machine and a dishwasher for your convenience.

If you are visiting during the warmer months, head out to the patio where you can soak up the scenery further whilst the BBQ sizzles in the background before you enjoy a spot of alfresco dining.

Whilst here, look forward to walking the magnitude of walks upon the Snowdonia National Park or soak up the sun at the many beaches that line the glorious coastline.
