“The property was smaller than expected.”

The Wifi was inadequate - we had to go round the back of the property to get the signal from the owners house. The mattress on the bed was not comfortable at all (I appreciate that people prefer different mattresses tho ) Could have done with some mugs to make a brew in as the ones there were just bigger cups.We couldn`t fault the wood burner though - there were plenty of logs available and it warmed the cottage beautifully :) The cottage was situated in beautiful surroundings ! Really quiet and away from everything :) Very relaxing area with plenty of walking opportunities.

About the property

A 300 year old, stone, traditional studio cottage, within the grounds of the owner’s property, and set in a secluded elevated position with panoramic mountain views on the outskirts of the village of Llanbedr-y-cennin in North Wales.

Ideal for a romantic break for those looking for seclusion and fantastic walking country.

The accommodation is very cosy with original beams and a wood burning stove, and there is a double bed, a small sofa and matching chair and dining table with two wooden chairs.

Together with a small kitchen which has a microwave, 2 ring hob, and fridge – this is all you need for a romantic time away enjoying this fabulous countryside.

Outside there is a large sloping garden which is secluded and has fantastic views over surrounding countryside.

The cottage is set in 5 acres of gardens and woodland, you’ll find sculpture trails through the woods for you to explore and the native woodland reveals interesting sculptures along its paths.

The garden enjoys a sunny aspect and is a perfect spot for a bit of bird watching or relaxing with a book.

Buzzards and red kites soar overhead and a wide variety of birds busy themselves in the tree canopy.

Twitchers are regular visitors to the village as they seek the elusive hawfinch.

There are some wonderful walks from the cottage and the North Wales coastline is just a short drive away, together with many biking trails and centres which are all within easy reach of the property.

A lovely studio cottage providing an ideal rural retreat and base to explore the cascading waterfalls and majestic mountain landscape of the Snowdonia National Park.
