  • "Beautiful property set in a great location."

Comfortable stay for 8 adults, lovely spacious cottage, games room a bonus. Lovely walks to explore the countryside nearby and a fabulous pub less than 5 minutes walking distance away that serves excellent food. Will be coming back soon.

There was a leak in the ceiling during a heavy rainstorm. Owner was at the house within 20 minutes and rectified it.

  • "We had a wonderful weekend in this lovely cottage."

It is very comfortable and clean, plenty of room for everyone. The local pub is only a short walk and the food is very good. The log burner helped to keep us cozy when it snowed. The only thing that we could criticise is the lack of decent mugs, some were chipped and need replacing. I would definitely recommend this cottage and hopefully we will return in the future

New mugs have now been added! Property Owner

  • "Fabulous property, has everything needed, I had forgotten a few things I like to bring, tea towels/bin bags… but they were all there like it was my own kitchen at home."

Only things that could improve was the stairs to the games room it didn’t feel safe at for some of us (young ones were fine) banister is wobbly. One side of the toaster didn’t work & the shower upstairs would go off completely if someone run the bath or shower downstairs, overall loved the place, would definitely recommend & book again. If don’t mind a little drive The Boat at Erbistock is absolutely gorgeous, little pricey but the views make it worth it

Banister fixed New toaster bought Sorry but water pressure does affect the system as it does in our home! Property Owner

This house had everything we needed. Very clean, warm and comfortable with lovely bedding. Plenty of room for all 7 of us. The games room is a real bonus and the boys loved the snooker table whilst we girls had a go on the dart board. The house is in a beautiful quiet area but there is the Kings Head Pub within walking distance that serve fab meals with ex customer service. Also there is a local Coop shop and you are not far from Wrexham, Llangollen. We will book to stay here again in the summer.

The property was very easy to find and to gain access. It's very well located for either the north Wales coast or for travelling further inland which we did on the Saturday. The cottage was exceptionally clean and beautifully laid out. The gardens were very pretty and private - the table and chairs in the covered area were a really lovely touch. Tea towels and bath towels were provided, and the latter were fluffy and luxurious. There were eight adults staying here, and there was plenty of space to all get round the kitchen table and the beds were comfortable. Thank you once again for a very lovely, peaceful weekend.

  • "We had a wonderful stay at the property."

Perfect for families with children. Very relaxing and spotlessly clean. We would happily book again when visiting family in wales. Lots of space, fantastic garden, cozy with the log burner, beautiful views from the windows. A fantastic games room with snooker table and darts. To make the property the best it can be, i would suggest the following.....the sheets were bobbly on both king size beds. Investment in some new sheets would be ideal. The sprung beds were a little hard (no comfort layer) and dipped in the middle slightly too on one of the beds. There were no hand towels in the bathrooms for use as soon as you enter the property. We had to take them from the bedrooms and place them in the 3 bathrooms. The pergola area with table and chairs requires some TLC in order to be used and enjoyed by guests. We didn't sit in it at all. Aside from the above minor adjustments, we truly had a fantastic time at the house, and would highly recommend to friends and family. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. We will be back!! :)

New sheets on order! Spring cleaning of garden due to include pergola area Many thanks Property Owner

Spacious and comfortable. The games room was a welcome and well-used bonus. Some suggestions are more kitchenware (crockery, pots and pans) for a demanding and hungry bunch of 8 people! A hot tub in the back garden would be the ultimate addition to an already-fantastic offer - we loved the scenic location, and closeness of amenities when needed, the friendliness of the farmer, the plethora of walks and trails nearby and just the general cozyness of the cottage! Highly recommended.

Five of us ( across 3 generations) had a fabulous week. The house is so comfortable and cosy- the central heating was so quick to operate on the occasional chilly evening. We all slept extremely well in the very comfortable beds in this tranquil location. Late summer colours in the garden were stunning and sitting out for early evening drinks was a very relaxing and memorable holiday experience. Dramatic skies, both morning and evening from the kitchen window. We had some lovely lunches out in Llangollen, Gresford and Erbistock and enjoyed cooking family meals, playing Trivial pursuit and chatting over a beer and wine in the toasty warm kitchen. Richard & Sally were so helpful with quick responses to a few questions we had through the week. All in all we had a great time and have already recommended the holiday to friends! Thank you very much.
