  • "This bungalow is beautiful and set in great surroundings."

It has everything you need to make it feel like home from home. Private gardens which was great for our dogs and well secured. Plenty of room inside to spread out if your a bigger family. Even though this is on a through road into the village of Llanwrst there is no sound from cars going past. Great views from the property and easy access to go sight seeing if you wanted to. Lots of great walks nearby too. On arrival we had been left a hamper which also contained treats for our dogs, a lovely thought and touch. We received messages before our stay from the owners welcoming us to the property and was able to contact the owner if we had any problems, which we did not have any. Highly recommend abs will definitely be going back in the future.

  • "The Orchards cannot be faulted in any way."

The property has been completely renovated to a high standard, with a top class kitchen, and high quality lounge, dining, and bedroom furniture, all very comfortable. The garden is brilliant for our two dogs, being properly fully enclosed. The location is perfect for exploring Snowdonia, all the main sights and attractions within 20 miles max. There are miles of walks from here, for those a bit more able than our 70 yo bones! The owners are very helpful, (we met Claire and spoke to Damian), living close but not in any way intrusive. All in all, a delightful stay, and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again, next time we are in this beautiful part of our country. Thank you for allowing us into your lovely home from home.

  • "Lovely cottage, the garden is beautiful and great for our dog."

Nice welcome pack, comfy and clean. The noise from the little stream next to the cottage is very relaxing and mutes out any road noise in the back garden. Would be more than happy to stay again. The only issue to be aware of is the two Cotoneaster Bushes in the back garden that have mildly toxic leaves and berries so be careful with young children or your dogs.

  • "The house was fab it really was a home away from home."

It had a great location with access to so many things in walking distance or a short drive. Our Dog loved the garden as did I. We will be heading back and I will be telling all of my friends about it! Can recommend the bakers and butchers in town great fresh cream cakes and Lamb shanks. The walk to betws y coed via the lake in the hills behind the house was beautiful. A trip to zip world was 5 min away and Conwy had some great walks and the mulberry on the harbour was lovely. In town Pen Y Bryn has a lovely garden (you would never guess from outside) and the walk along the river is lovely. A trip to Anglesey and the red squirrel forest and beach llanddwyn was worth the drive. I can promise you won’t run out of things to do if you love the beautiful outdoors!

The garden was great and had lovely views over the hills. They went out of their way to add a welcome pack, even the dogs got a treat. About the location

LLANRWST

Betws-y-Coed 4 miles; Conwy 10 miles.

Llanrwst is a thriving market town which stands in the beautiful Conwy Valley, only four miles from picturesque Betws-y-Coed, known as the 'Gateway to Snowdonia' and which is North Wales's most popular inland resort. Surrounded by dense woodland and magnificent mountain country, this is a haven for walkers and outdoor enthusiasts alike. At Betws-y-Coed the River Conwy meets its three tributaries flowing from the west, and the beauty of the area is enhanced by cascading waterfalls, river pools and ancient bridges. Most famous of all are the magnificent Swallow Falls, situated where the Llugwy River hurls itself into a spectacular chasm. The village has shops, pubs, places to eat, miniature railway, a riverside golf course and the Woodland High Rope Activity Centre, and is home to The Snowdonia National Park Visitor Centre, as well as being the start of the beautiful Conwy Valley which leads to the coast and the lovely towns of Llandudno and Conwy.
