  • "Lovely cottage in a great location - we had a brilliant time in Wales."

The cottage is spacious and one of the largest we have stayed in for two people. Fab kitchen and it was great to come out of the rain to a roaring fire. The welcome gifts were a lovely touch, too. Relaxed, recharged and ready to go again.

  • "A lovely rustic converted former cowshed turned into a delightful old-world cottage."

The location is very quiet, only the sheep can be heard. The cottage could be a little cold so it’s worth YouTubeing a basic ‘how to do it’ re log burners if you have never used one before, however the owners are next door and happy to give guidance. We will certainly be back, there’s loads to do and we would recommend Snowdon ( we went up on the diesel train) and a visit to Betws- y - Coed.

Great view from the patio that got the afternoon and evening sun with only the sound of birds and sheep for company. Great hosts to welcome us and available for advice on local walks which were spectacular, especially along the estuary and to the beach. Highly recommend

Come night time no light pollution from street lighting. Beautiful calm, tranquil evenings. A great location with beautiful views across to the mountains. An incredibly spacious property that had everything, including strong wi-fi! Even my wi-fi at home was not that quick. Thoughtful gift package of wine, bara birthday (cake) and honey left for us on arrival. Hot water in abundance as soon as you turned the tap, contact with owners by text before arrival leaving numbers to contact if needed. We visit the area regularly and enjoy the location immensely. A definite tick in the box for a future return. Thankyou for allowing us to relax, chill out and enjoy everything available. Even the sheep alarm clock.

Actually seemed bigger than in the photos! Bed was so comfortable it was a challenge to get out and do some walking! Lovely attentive helpful owners… it is a place to come back to. The kitchen could do with some more utensils, etc. but other than that - wonderful place - highly recommended!

There if needed but not intrusive. Very quiet area with lots of birds, bees and nature. Stunning views from the side and end patio areas. Bench/table for sitting but also deck chairs available. Comfy sofa with limited tv channels. Wifi good. It is a pity the views can not be seen from the lounge area. We could have looked at them all day! Tesco/Morrisons both within 10mins drive away. If your able make sure to do some of the walks from the cottage, they are well worth the effort. The Emporium just up from the cottage is also worth a visit. Just what we needed, peace and quiet for a week. We were lucky with the weather too. Thankyou

  • "This cottage is one of the best we have recently rented, (if it was for sale and I had the cash I would have brought it) the location was quiet with a view to the mountains around a real treat whilst having a meal in the garden."

There was some concern of a nearby 'Industrial Estate" but this is just an old RAF station, populated by some interesting characters selling 'antiques' and recycled bits and pieces. The wet room would benefit from a few grab handles for those less abled, but as the owner said its not marketed at disabled people, so a quick trip a few miles aways solved our issue with the purchase of a shower stool. Abundant wild life and a cosy interior made this week at the cottage a great getaway, much better than the noisy 'honey pot destinations' nearby.
