  • "We enjoyed a wonderful week’s holiday staying in this chalet."

To wake up each morning and see the spectacular view from S15 was a joy. We had mixed weather but it didn’t matter, we had plenty to do at The Warren. We enjoyed food and drinks at the Sandbar and the new cafe by the swimming pool. We had meals inside the chalet and there was plenty of utensils and equipment. We also enjoyed meals out in Abersoch. This was a holiday I will treasure for a long time, thank you

  • "We had a wonderful holiday - just a few points the corner unit very low but obviously owners choice."

The towel rails in both bathrooms rusty. But overall excellent holiday and these are just minor things.

  • "The stairs are quite dangerous."

Need maintaining but the rest of the lodge was amazing. Lovely holiday. Would go again.

  • "Highly recommend a stay here."

The view from the terrace is incredible. Previous reviews mentioned wifi issues, but we had no issues with wifi. The Warren facilities were great - swimming pools, gym and restaurant onsite.

  • "Fantastic location and the park was wonderful - no issues with WiFi or registering on site for the leisure facilities although Sykes instructions about registering with myaulfryn web site are wrong and caused confusion."

The property could be also be great but was really let down by poor cleaning - dust on cupboard ledges, bugs on window sills, toilets and shower needed a good clean. This was also made worse by two vacuum cleaners which didn't work! Steps down to the beach were a bit hazardous and could do with some maintenance and gardening work. We did have a great week and but for the cleanliness we'd be more than happy to make a return visit.

  • "The property is in a fantastic location and overall the holiday was memorable."

There are a few things that I would like to point out though, there are a few of the paving stones which surround the property which are loose and could cause an accident. Also the stairs to the beach are in need of some maintenance as they are getting overgrown and some of the steps are not level and it is not easy to navigate. General weeding needs to be done to keep the property looking good.

  • "Very clean and bright property with fantastic views from spacious sun deck."

Only two minor niggles - the selection of cheap plastic coat hangers detracted from the otherwise quality “feel” of the property and the on site Warren Hi-Fi was unreliable. Other than that a memorable stay.

  • "S15 is in a wonderful position fantastic outlook and was good value so no complaints thank you."

It could be so much more comfortable inside. Wi-Fi is an issue. All in all magic wish it was available more. The Warren and admin is a nightmare. Address Sykes use for leisure details is wrong should be Warren reception and our car reg was not recognised all week. They don’t want renters here and it is becoming obvious. Very sad one of our favourite places

  • "Went with elderly parents thay found sofa to low to get off them."

And there was no wi fi all week, told reception who gave us a number to ring I phoned them 4 times and thay just said someone was looking into it. But it never came on and with a 11 year old and his devices that would not connect he was upset.

  • "This is such a lovely place."

Wasn’t what I was expecting as hadn’t properly clocked that it’s set within such a big complex of other holiday homes but it meant that great facilities were available. The home was really well equipped and warm. Loved the area too. We hope to come back again because we had such an enjoyable week. Many thanks

About the location

ABERSOCH

Pwllheli 6 miles.

The attractive harbour village of Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in a region of Wales renowned for its outstanding scenery and varied walking. The village, situated between two glorious bays, is one of the most popular sailing venues in North Wales and important sailing regattas are held there throughout the summer months. Numerous shops cater for the tourist as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes. There are also opportunities for golfers as there is a course just outside the village and horse riding facilities are also available nearby. Watersports enthusiasts are also well catered for, particularly windsurfing, water skiing and dinghy sailing, not to mention renowned surfing at Port Neigwl (Hell’s Mouth). The long, sandy Abersoch Main Beach is probably the most popular beach in the area. There is a wonderful selection of beaches in the surrounding area of the Llyn Peninsula, including the beautiful and often quiet Porth Ceriad, with it's high cliffs, and sandy Porth Oer ("Whistling Sands"). Most of the coastline is owned by the National Trust and there are many remote bays, sandy beaches and cliffs, as well as wildlife havens like Bardsey Island to explore.
