    Mr Staples

“The cottage was decorated and fitted out to an extremely high standard.”

It was very close to local shops with good access to buses and the railway station. Tony was very accommodating and in frequent contact to check that we knew where everything was.Although there is not a garden the cottage is situated on a small secluded pathway with colourful garden seats which would have been put to good use had the weather been kinder. The property

Brickworks Cottage is a beautiful tucked away terrace holiday cottage in Chester.

Within a City Centre Location, it is situated in a lovely and quiet area.

Perfect for race goers, boutique shoppers, or couples looking for a quiet retreat.

It is easily accessible by train and is a great home for exploring the surrounding area.

As you enter the front door, you come into a large and light lounge with an electric fire, Smart TV and two-seater sofa.

There is also a storage cupboard, which is perfect for storing coats, shoes or outdoor accessories you may have.

The room leads through to the dining room, which is again large and bright.

There is a table that comfortably seats four, which is perfect for entertaining dinner guests, or having a romantic dinner for two by candlelight.

There is an archway leading to the kitchen and a serving arch allowing items to be passed through from the kitchen to the dining room.

Another Smart TV is mounted on the dining room’s wall so you can watch TV while cooking from the kitchen or during dinner in the dining room.

The spacious kitchen has granite work surfaces throughout and has a large double window above which fills the kitchen with light.

This kitchen has all you need for cooking meals during your stay.

It features a single oven with induction hob above, an integrated fridge, freezer and slimline dishwasher.

There is also a washing machine, kettle and microwave.

Off to the side of the dining room are the stairs leading to the top floor.

As you climb these, you will come to a half landing that leads to the modern bathroom on the right and the master bedroom on the left.

The boutique bathroom on the right has a rainfall shower, which is perfect for relaxing after exploring the local area.

There is also a basin, WC and separate bath, which is perfect for romantic bubble baths.

In the master bedroom, there is a double bed, bespoke dressing table, built in storage cupboards and bedside tables with lamps.

WiFi is also available throughout the property.

Another wall mounted Smart TV can be watched from the comfort of the bed and there are well-placed power points throughout the cottage.

Large windows allow lots of light throughout all of the rooms, making the whole property feel light and airy.

A perfect home away from home.

Outside there is a small outdoor bricked patio with bistro table and chairs attracting the afternoon sun and tucked away from the rest of the street.

The area is really quiet and offers peace and tranquillity away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre.

Chester city centre is only a short walk away, as is the local canal and the River Dee.

Brickworks Cottage is an ideal home away from home, especially for race goers and boutique shoppers!

About the location

CHESTER

Liverpool 17 miles; Manchester 36 miles.

Chester has quite rightly been described as 'the jewel of the North-West of England'.

Perhaps the most fascinating aspect of the city is that within a very small area there is evidence of every period of history - from the old walls and amphitheatre of Roman times, through medieval churches, Elizabethan timber-framed townhouses and Georgian terraces, to Victorian restorations and 21st century architecture.

The city has much to offer the tourist, including excellent shopping in and around the famous Tudor 'Rows' and lovely walks along the Roman Walls, beside the River Dee and through the picturesque Grosvenor Park.

Explore Chester's beautiful medieval cathedral, visit Chester Racecourse or spend a day at the world renowned Chester Zoo.

Further afield, the stunning Welsh mountains and coastline, the quaint market towns and villages of Cheshire and the Wirral Peninsula with its first class golf courses, are all within easy touring distance, whilst frequent rail services make Liverpool, Manchester and the North Wales coast readily accessible..
