“We had a wonderful stay at Thistledown.”

It is a beautiful cottage. I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews, but I didn't need to be. The house really was beautifully decorated, the beds were so comfortable - I haven't slept that well in a long time, the towels provided were clean and soft, the shower in the main bathroom was great - no issue with the water pressure at all. It was clean when we arrived, and I was being super picky because of the comments I had read about cleanliness - so I did need to give the fridge ...

It was clean when we arrived, and I was being super picky because of the comments I had read about cleanliness - so I did need to give the fridge and bread bin a wipe due to some crumbs - but that is all. It is a great location, and was perfect for our family, which on this occassion was 4 adults and 2 children (10 and 11). We enjoyed making use of the garden for football - we had brought our own ball - but there was one there. I would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to book again.
