"Loved the property, great location to visit other areas of interest, large & inviting house that has been tastefully decorated."
What you see in the pictures is what you get. Unfortunately the bathroom and en-suite was not clean on arrival, hair in the shower, soap marks on the shower glass etc but this was quickly resolved after one phone call. TV sound was an issue, when increasing the volume the noise would travel through the rest of the house. Put subtitles which resolved things after all it is an open plan sitting room. Don’t worry if you hear things go bump in the night, I’m sure he/she is friendly
Glad you enjoyed your stay - we strive to make guests comfortable and sort out any issues as quickly as possible Property Owner

"We had an amazing time!"
It's a lovely place to stay and we are planning to return next year. One small point (which hasn't affected our review at all)- the 2nd floor shower plug blocked quickly meaning we had to shower in short 5 second spurts. But thanks for the lovely property!

"We booked the property for a family holiday and it was perfect!"
It has tonnes of space and the facilities were ideal for our group. Super clean and all of the basics provided (cleaning products, bin bags, toilet roll etc). The location was great for accessing local areas like Pwhelli and Porthmadog and explore the south side of Snowdonia National Park. Would highly recommend and will definitely come again!
Thank you - it is such a beautiful area and so much to do. Glad you had a good time and we’d love to have you back Property Owner

"Fabulous property, loads of room nice and quite, a good location to explore North Wales."

"We were a party of four generations, ranging from mum in her nineties to her great granddaughter at 15 months old plus dog."
It’s not easy finding accommodation that can meet everyone’s needs but Capel Bryan Bachau was brilliant. It was spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped and decorated beautifully. The Pool table and football table were a great hit. I would certainly recommend.
-
"Absolutly loved our stay, the Chapel has been converted to an excellent standard."
It could do with some full length curtain to reduce the echo, you can hear every tiny footstep from others when trying to sleep and the TV sound system needs looking at, the base was so loud, yet you struggled to hear the talking if you tried to turn it down. We would definitely go back, 3 generations of our family stayed and we all loved it.

"We had a great week in the cottage."
It was great having the games and the kitchen equipment was fantastic for cooking. The sofas and chairs were all really comfortable. We felt that the bedrooms could have had better storage and it wasn’t particularly clean. The location was perfect for exploring the local area and it was really peaceful there.

"Excellent open-plan living in an astounding converted Chapel."
It had a charm and comfort that everyone experienced; the pool table a focus point anytime of the day. Magnificent windows and beautiful wooden flooring adding to a very special stay here for my sons 21st Birthday. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and a glorious wood burner which had everyday use. A good location, we enjoyed Criccieth immensely, as well as visits to Velocity 2 and Portmadog. Good local walks for our dog Ted as well. Very quiet at night, a memorable stay!
So glad you enjoyed your stay - the area around the Chapel is beautiful and very dog friendly- Neil & Denise Property Owner

"A really luxurious and well-equipped property and in an ideal position for exploring the area."
Comfy beds and we loved the pool and football tables. It's obvious the owners have put a lot of love into the property and we loved it too - one of the nicest I've stayed in.

"Beautiful conversion of a really wonderful building - stunning place and perfect for exploring the gorgeous Llyn peninsula."
We had a fab week with great weather. We had some issues with the standard of cleanliness on arrival and had to contact the owner, who was very responsive and eager to put issues right as soon as possible.

"A home from home."
We had an amazing time. From entering the building, the whole experience was perfect. The thoughtful attention to detail from the kitchen utensils required while cooking to the dvd’s and games ( not forgetting the pool table) means you are covered for every eventuality during your stay. It’s location is perfect for exploring the North Wales coast. We were sad to leave, and would return in an instant. Would highly recommend.

"Lovely chapel conversion is a great location Llyn peninsula, perfectly positioned between porthmadog and abersoch made it easy to visit lots of places."
We wanted to get a day pas for Havan however they wouldnt let us despite it saying we could in the cottage. There were a few cobwebs and spiders etc and someone had left clothes and underwear in wardrobe so must not have been cleaned and checked properly. Sky TV was a great addition but could of done with a few board games for the wet weather days. There was a picnic bench in a small gated area to side of chapel but that was about it. It was perfect for us but if the weather was nice in evening id be a little disappointed. Parasol, BBQ some nice outside lights would make small space a really nice feature. I was disappointed with Sykes for not getting back to me regards loyalty discount we should of received, a call and an email and nothing. Not so sure i will continue my loyalty with them after many years.

"The only drawback for me was lack of a garden to relax after busy day everyone ..."
The only drawback for me was lack of a garden to relax after busy day everyone else enjoyed the games table’s but other than that excellent

"A delightful property, beautifully and sympathetically restored to create a stunning living space."
Whilst the weather could have been better, I can't think of a nicer place to spend a week in North Wales.

"Love this place."
An absolutely amazing spot with loads of room, real quality fittings, a fab kitchen, a pool table & table football... We've been visiting regularly for the last few years & have always really enjoyed ourselves: we've been with our friends, family & just our dogs - they love it too. You just cannot fail to love the chapel.
-
"Stunning property."
Very well equipped with everything we needed for a fantastic holiday. Although we had a few days of showers during our stay - the pool table, table football and Sky Cinema kept everyone entertained, and the huge open plan living space meant everyone was still together. Would definitely recommend Capel Bryn Bachau for a fun family and friends holiday!
-
"The home was fantastic and just like the photos on the website."
There were 3 generations on holiday and the layout in the chapel was ideal, if anything that could be improved it would be the outdoor space as it would have been nice to relax outside, but we knew what we were getting beforehand so no complaints there.
-
"Fabulous house."
Very original and high quality of materials used.
-
"Absolutely fantastic property - everything we hope for and more!"
Spacious, clean, well-equipped stunningly converted chapel in which to make treasured family memories.

"We booked this bright, spacious and beautifully converted chapel to celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday."
3 generations of us with the youngest being 12 years old. There was lots to keep everyone entertained when in the chapel, with the pool and football tables being a real gift for the children and lots to do out and about. Some great walks, castles and other historical buildings to visit. We had such a great time, adults and children alike loved staying at the chapel that we’ve booked again for the later in the year!

"Chapel Bryn was everything and more than we expected ."
It has been beautifully restored and the whole family enjoyed every minuet of our stay there . It was lovely to receive a lovely bottle of fizz from the owners on arrival just added a little something extra . Would highly recommend this place to all . After posting some pictures on social media had lots of people enquiring about how and where to book Chapel Bryn . There are some stunning walks in this area and the chapel is based in an area of stunning natural beauty . If you drive there are lots of fabulous historical places to visit in this this area all only a 15 to 20 min drive away . Chapel Bryn was a fantastic place for myself and my family to see the New Year in . Will definitely be booking again in the future .

"The holiday from start to finish was faultless and would go back to Capel Bryn Bachau in a heartbeat!"
When we arrived at the property there was a bottle of bubbly and chocolates waiting for us to wish us a happy stay! From that point on the property had everything you could wish for; plenty of games and dvds, comfy living area, and an amazing kitchen. The property exudes luxury and will be looking to book the property for our next get together! Thank You! X

"We've been to the C(h)apel many times before, but never with our dogs."
The facilities are just amazing:underfloor heating, rain-forest showers, amazing kitchen, table football & pool. The dogs loved staying here so much that we are already planning a return trip.
-
"The chapel was really wonderful, very well equipped, with something for everyone and such a beautiful property to spend the week in, especially with the pool table and the log burner it was lovely to spend the evenings in."
The area is fantastic too with so many beaches near by, even in Oct/Nov we were able to go to the beach most days and the one day we did have showers the day pass to the Haven Water Park was great fun. I would certainly recommend it.
-
"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would love to return."
The Chapel is immaculate and has all facilities needed for a family. We had four generations with us and all enjoyed every aspect of it. We loved visiting Llanbedrog beach and we used a swimming pool at Aberech Sands which was lovely on a rainy day. We enjoyed visiting Criccieth and Abersoch and didn’t have one bad meal during our stay. We would recommend the Chapel to friends and family and I have already been asked about it from my pictures. Thanks for making our stay 5 star!

"Great venue, had lovely holiday there."
All we could wish for and more. Directions to find place a bit difficult, if it said take turning as if into the Haven holiday site and then immediately left it would have been clearer, but we found it. Note to other visitors, the property looks like it is on a main road, but that isn’t so, tiny road, no traffic. Haven very close, but no noise or evidence that it is there really, so don’t be concerned about either issue. Great facility, beautifully presented, we had three generations on our family holiday, everyone thrilled with property, very happy.
