The weather was gorgeous and the play area was fully explored by the children. It would have been good if the nettles had been strimmed and the grass as recent rain got shoes and socks very wet.Some lovely resorts within driving distance and some good pubs with excellent food and facilities for children. A really enjoyable holiday.

LLansannan is nestled on the banks of the River Aled, just 8 miles from the North Wales coast, with Colwyn Bay and Rhyl easily accessible. The town of Denbigh is 8 miles to the east and dates back to the 11th century, boasting the remains of a 13th century castle, perched atop a steep hill above the town and commanding some superb views over the surrounding countryside. A busy little town, Denbigh provides a variety of shops and pubs, and a number of events including walking festivals, beer festivals, the Denbigh and Flint Annual Show, the ClayArt Potters Market and a monthly People's Market.
