  • "We stayed at Ffynonn Wen for a week in the October school holidays and we were blown away by this magnificent house!"

! The house is massive and the pictures really don't do it justice. We were met with a welcome basket with a few essentials which was a lovely surprise. The house is spotless and the kitchen was equipped for us to self cater. The hot tub was also spotlessly clean and we took advantage of this after a day out sightseeing. The owner Jay was always on hand if we had any questions, nothing was to much bother so massive shout out for that, it was very much appreciated. The house is a stone throw from the promenade/ beach and there was a lovely pub called the Toad if you want a wee drink after a day sightseeing. We walked along the promenade to Rhos on Sea most days and this is about 20 minutes to walk( nice wee shops , pub, mini golf ) so worth a wee stroll. Colwyn bay is central to lots of days out such as the Great Orme, Conwy castle, and not forgetting the Welsh mountain zoo. The rooms in the house were spacious and comfortable with an added bonus of the sea views ( my brother enjoyed his morning coffee on the balcony whilst enjoying the sea view) myself and my family would not hesitate to book Fynnon Wen again and hope to do so in the near future,!! Thanks once again to Jay for being so hospitable , it was very much appreciated.

The location was great and a bonus of a Juke Box. 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay there

  • "Stayed here for a weekend away with family."

The house is fantastic and has everything you could need and more! It is in a perfect location with lovely sea views and a short walk to The town centre. The host was lovely and made us feel at ease that we could contact him at any time. The hot tub was an added bonus which both adults and kids enjoyed. Would recommend this house for anyone who wants a relaxing break away. We will look forward to booking again in future.

  • "We stayed for a 60th birthday party."

It was the most fun and magical weekend! Right on the beach front, the house is absolutely stunning, a lovely welcome pack was left for us. The owner got in contact a few times to ensure everything was ok. Everything from start to finish was just perfect. We’ll see you again next year.

  • "What a fabulous property this is, thoroughly enjoyed our stay, wouldn’t hesitate to go back and will definitely recommend to friends."

7 adults, 2 juniors and a dog on this trip, more than enough space for everyone, outdoor space also great, though we couldn’t make the most of it as not blessed with great weather. Lovely welcome pack and owners always available if required, fab service and the hot tub at the end of a busy day, wow, what can I say.

  • "The house exceeded all expectations and was so much bigger than we expected even for 10 people."

The kitchen was so well stocked and the photos of the house don’t do it justice. The location is wonderful being about 20m from the sandy beach and there are lots of little villages along the sea which we enjoyed visiting as well. I would highly recommend staying here to everyone, it is incredible!

Right near the town and beach. The living room is huge and the hot tub a welcome extra. Would highly recommend to stay here. Lovely welcome pack on arrival too. Top venue.

  • "Just returned from a fantastic weekend at Ffynonn Wen to celebrate a 50th wedding anniversary."

There were 11 of us including 3 children and the dog. The house exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect, just across the road from the beach and parking outside. The rooms are big, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well equipped and the welcome hamper was a lovely surprise. Outside the garden is secure and private with lots of outdoor furniture. The second floor has the balcony with the hot tub which was a huge hit with everyone. Would highly recommend this house and we’re looking forward to going back!

  • "We had a wonderful week in this house and there was plenty of space for our party of 4 adults, 7 children and a labrador!"

It is the perfect location with almost direct access to the beach. The hot tub was also a big hit! We had a lovely roast dinner in the Toad which is just around the corner and some delicious milkshakes and ice creams in Rhos which was about a 15 minute stroll up the promenade. We went to the cinema in Llandudno, went up the Great Orme, played in the arcades and explored Conway, all no more than a 15 minute drive. The kitchen was well stocked with all the relevant equipment we needed - we could have perhaps done with some larger saucepans as cooking pasta for 11 was a little tricky. We would not hesitate to recommend this house and will hopefully be back next year!

  • "We said “Wow” a lot when we walked around this house."

All of the rooms are enormous and beautifully decorated. The views of the sea are so good, it’s great to have the beach just over the road. The hot tub was a lovely treat too and a surprise jukebox! The house has everything you need and is close to cafe’s and shops. The owners turned everything around for us at the last minute. We had a wonderful weekend. Thank you
