A pleasant period Victorian corner townhouse with a turret, in an ideal central location in popular Colwyn Bay, on the North Wales coastline.
This cottage offers practical and traditional accommodation, where as soon as you enter through the porch you will find a hallway with original features retained where possible, to include a stained glass door, patterned floor tiles, fashionable ceiling corbels and wooden banister rails.
On your right you will discover a bright and airy sitting room which recesses into the corner turret and is warmed with the open fire, a perfect place to relax at the end of a busy day exploring the coast.
The dining room offers two seating areas, a corner table with bench seating, ideal for children to use and doubling as a play table, whilst the adults can enjoy a more formal atmosphere at the main table, or draw the two together for family dining.
The fitted kitchen also features a breakfast bar with bar stools located around the central preparation island, allowing for a social atmosphere whilst cooking or preparing cocktail drinks that can then be enjoyed on the side patio area.
Upstairs the cottage has three spacious double rooms with feature fireplaces, along with a cosy single room, and with a family bathroom on the first floor and a shower room on the ground floor, the accommodation has enough flexibility to suit most requirements.
Along with a patio area, outside there’s also off road parking for one car, as well as free roadside parking for additional vehicles if required.
This property is in a wonderful location for the all-year-round, golden, sandy beach, as it’s reached from a path that leads from the bottom of the road and through an underpass.
The James Alexander Barr Tennis Centre is about 6 minutes’ walk from Sunny Towers and is part of the Colwyn Leisure Centre which also has a swimming pool, squash court, a 4 court sports hall, a fitness suite and an athletics track.
If you wanted to attend one of the many premier sporting events or concerts at Eirias Park you can use the same shortcut to be there within minutes, and the pubs and restaurants of Colwyn Bay, Rhos-on-Sea and Old Colwyn will provide you with numerous options for evening entertainment.
This is an ideal family cottage for an enjoyable North Wales holiday.
