“Had a wonderful weeks holiday with ...”
Had a wonderful weeks holiday with my partner and our dog last week (w/b 28th October). The whole cottage was as the pictures, just beautiful. All rooms decorated with care and attention and you could see the owner’s interest in chabby chic throughout. As others have said everything you need is there from towels and sheets to washing up liquid and sellotape! Lots of information about walks and attractions. Great to go out for an autumnal walk on the beach (about 40 minutes away) and then back ...

As others have said everything you need is there from towels and sheets to washing up liquid and sellotape! Lots of information about walks and attractions. Great to go out for an autumnal walk on the beach (about 40 minutes away) and then back to a cosy fire. Slate mines and Portmerion close by and enjoyable. Yes the shower needs negotiation but fine when you get the hang of it. Easier to park outside of the front. Great value for money. We will certainly be back!

The property

Blaenau Ffestiniog town centre 1.3 miles.

A delightful terraced holiday cottage on the outskirts of the village of Manod, just over a mile from Blaenau Ffestiniog, and with views from the rear garden to Manod Mawr.

Step through the porch into the welcoming sitting room with its cosy woodburning stove where you can warm your toes on a cooler evening whilst enjoying its relaxing atmosphere.

Towards the rear of the cottage you will find the kitchen with dining area and views onto the mountains, whilst upstairs are two bedrooms; a cosy single room and a double bedroom, again with great views.

There is also a first floor family bathroom with the option of a bath or shower over the bath.

Off road parking can be found at the rear of the cottage, with further parking on the road if required.

Steps lead down from the parking to the garden, which is enclosed and lawned, with a patio area and table and chairs, where you can sit and soak up the summer sun and fresh mountain air.

Enjoy time in this well-presented Snowdonia cottage whilst planning your trips to the numerous local attractions, which include Zipworld Titan, home to the longest zip wire in Europe, and Bounce Below, with bouncy nets stretched over disused slate caverns, Antur Stiniog Mountain Bike centre with its variety of trails, and of course the famous Ffestiniog Steam Railway to Porthmadog.

There is so much on offer to keep you busy in the Snowdonia National Park you will have to come back to finish it all off.
