  • "A beautiful 'high-end' holiday home right in the heart of fabulous Conwy."

Ground floor is open plan with a well-equipped kitchen and two comfy sofas. Two lovely outside seating areas. Loved the bedrooms and super-comfy beds (and good storage space). Very large, walk-in shower. Although the property is just off one of the main streets it still feels very private. Quite a few choices of restaurants, cafes and pubs in Conwy. We enjoyed The Jackdaw restaurant; L's Coffee and Bookshop; Vinomondo's and The Albion pub (good choice of real ales) - as well as Parisella's Ice Cream Parlour (which is just across the road). We'll definitely return to Conwy and, if it's available, we'll certainly stay in this 'home from home' again. We didn't bring our car so can't comment on parking. However the train station and bus stops are less than 5 minutes walk away. Thank you.

  • "A beautiful house, immaculately and stylishly furnished in a superb location in the centre of Conwy."

The quality of everything was superb. The comfiest beds ever and the bottle of fizz and mince pies for New Year was a lovely touch. Despite awful weather we had a great time-and I can imagine how lovely the two outside terraces would be in the Summer, though I’m sure parking might be trickier then. Couldn’t fault it. Thank you.

  • "Really comfortable and cosy cottage with luxurious furniture and fittings."

Perfect beds! Didn't get chance to use the cooking facilities, but they looked good and spotlessly clean. So sensible to have grey towels too. Just couple of extras would have been great - a welcome pack of essentials including milk and tea, and an outside umbrella for sitting out. All in all a SUPER PLACE TO STAY IN A FABULOUS AREA! Highly recommended.

A very interesting place. The cottage was very comfortable and accommodating. Both front and back seating areas were dog-proof so that was reassuring.

The location is second to none, right in the centre of town with an ice cream parlour ten yards away- what could be better. We parked the car right outside and didn’t move it until we went home. Loads of walks to do, even got to Deganwy for lunch. I would absolutely recommend this property and Alison the owner was always on hand if needed. Excellent time all round.

It was a luxurious set up with everything one could require. We have resided at many locations in the UK, and as the late great lady would say, this place 'Is simply the best !' The location was ideal, everywhere was within 5 minutes walking distance, and Conwy is such a pretty place as this was our first visit to the town. Alison, the owner, also provided a lovely light touch approach, which was much appreciated. As the big man would say 'I'll be back!' Phil

  • "Very stylish but very homely at the same time - luxury accommodation but practical and useable."

Everything from the knives and forks to the comfortable beds is top quality. The kitchen has everything you would need and more. There are two outside areas. The front overlooks the High Street and at this time of year gets most sun (end April) and the weather was kind enough for us to sit and watch the world go by. The back patio is accessed through bi-fold doors which would open up the whole of the house. A bit more shaded, we didn't use it this time, but can see that in the height of summer it would be a perfect place to sit. The bathroom is spacious, both the bedrooms are large and have big wardrobes and drawers, and the downstairs loo is a bonus. Llewelyn Street is narrow but we were able to park outside every day without problem and its position just off the High Street is perfect for shops, pubs, restaurants. It's also just a couple of minutes walk from the Quay and from there there's a lovely walk along to the marina. Alison is a great owner, helpful and available if you have any questions or need information.

  • "This property is located in a prime location on the corner of the high street just opposite the Castle Hotel and is ideally located for exploring north Wales."

The property is furnished to a very high specification with beautiful soft furnishings and squidgy sofas and we made good use of the fire in the living room on those chilly evenings. Although there is no allocated parking we didn’t have a problem parking outside the property and we stayed for a week. A couple of things we missed which we’ve been used to having when staying in similar holiday cottages is a pod coffee machine and wireless speaker but everything else has been thought of. The property is a minutes walk from the Quayside and we stopped at the butchers or bakers to buy some goodies for breakfast and sat looking out on the Quy on those sunny early mornings, a perfect start to the day!

From the moment we got there everything was well thought through and well-prepared. The beds have lights under them which was a source of constant fascination for the children! It's a perfect location for sight-seeing. In 4 days we managed to do Conwy Castle, Swimming at the beach, the Great Orme and Treetoppers. Plus, the beds are amazzzzing! Everything is top notch and the hosts are always on hand if you need anything. Perfect 4 days. The weather helps but even without that, this would have been the ideal stay. We will be back!

It is luxurious, spacious, comfortable, spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you would need and the property has such a great style and design, as soon as you open the doors when you arrive it looks and smells amazing. Alison was so friendly and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the living room with that amazing fireplace and comfortable couches, after a day out exploring the town centre and the historic walls, it really added an extra level of comfort. The property is very easy to find, street side parking was available just outside and we did note there was additional paid parking just nearby, which is helpful to know if visiting at a busy time. We can't wait to come to Conwy again, but also to stay in this fabulous cottage again too. Thank you for everything.

Central location was a bonus. Alison (host) was lovely, welcoming and helpful. Cannot praise the quality of this cottage highly enough. Attention to detail outstanding-really appreciated in a chilly October when we spent a little more time indoors due to shorter daylight hours. Location excellent for Conwy (right in the heart of the town). Location also good for access to A55 main route out to nearby Llandudno and to many routes within Snowdonia region. Aber Falls and Conway Mountain (look out for the wild ponies) a must for walkers, scenery beautiful. Town, beach, lots of country walks through park and woodland. Easy access to Anglesey. Perfect location, so much to do in this region for every age.

What a lovely surprise to have a homemade cake and bottle of fizz waiting for us! Great location, ideally situated within Conwy, but not far from visiting places in and around Conwy. We went to Anglesey, Bodnant Gardens, Abersoch all within in easy commuting distance. As we have a dog , I enjoyed walking along the Quay in the morning and through the woods. The terrace to the side and back of the property were great for the sunshine. The only niggles… No gate to the front terrace. Would of Been nice to have outside table and chairs a couple of sun loungers, and the bins hidden away … apart from that.. perfect x

Thank you so much for your feedback, we are glad you enjoyed your stay. There is garden furniture on order unfortunately there has been a delay with the delivery. We are also organising a front gate to be fitted. Property Owner

About the location

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
