  • "We had such a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage."

The location is perfect. It had everything we needed and the balcony showing views of the castle and Conwy were stunning, we enjoyed many an evening out there watching the people walk along the castle walls. There is no parking however we stayed for 7 days and only had to pay for parking once so this wasn’t an issue. We managed to get free parking on the lane below. Couple of things I would suggest would be a bath mat is needed as the floor gets very wet and we were having to use a towel as a mat. There is a plastic bath mat but the water just goes straight through it. The bed frame in the main bedroom was not very sturdy the frame seems to wobble, so this may need to be adjusted. Also a bit of a clean around the tiles at the bottom of the towel rail, there was quite a bit of dust/dirt around it, looked like it hadn’t been done in quite a while. We very much enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and I’m sure we will return very soon.

Thank you for the feedback and tips Sarah. Our housekeeper has reviewed the cleaning comments and the bed will be fixed tomorrow. I just wish you had let me know when I called to check everything was OK and we could have dealt with these issues immediately so they wouldn’t have affected your stay. Thanks again! Property Owner

Would benefit from a good clean and a proper check over between stays. Conwy is a lovely little town. Fantastic views from the balcony.

  • "We enjoyed a three night stay at this beautiful cottage in the centre of Conwy, the owners kept in touch with us right up to us arriving letting us know we could get the keys a few hours earlier than planned."

The cottage it self was immaculate, very clean and well maintained. We would recommend this accommodation for anyone wanting a relaxing break and the added bonus of Conwy on your doorstep. This will be a return trip for us in the future.

  • "This is a lovely property, It is very well equipped, the owners have tried to think of everything."

The position of the property is ideal for access to everything happening in Conwy and the surrounding area. Nicola was very contactable and even let us know the property was ready early for us to gain access , which was much appreciated as it was wet and cold winter weather when we arrived so we were very happy to get in the warm. Tasteful Christmas trims and a welcome gift of goodies was a lovely touch . Be aware of the when booking ,Access into the property, there are steps to the front door , and the internal stairs would not be suitable for babies /toddlers or people with mobility issues . It does state this in the property description. We had a lovely 6 night stay and hope to return . Thank you

Wendy - thank you so much for the lovely feedback, we’re so pleased that everything was to your liking and you had a good stay in Conwy! Do come stay again! Property Owner

  • "The cottage was perfect- really well positioned within the walls so everything was close."

Parking is tricky but did find free parking close by. Owner was super friendly and checked in that everything was ok. Good WiFi, loved the shower and cottage was warm and toasty. Minor quibble that there was nowhere to hang coats downstairs but overall would definitely recommend this property and if we come back to Conwy, would definitely see if this one was available.

  • "We loved our stay here!"

The house is in an amazing location, right in the centre of the town, with gorgeous views of the walls and the castle from the terrace. The interior is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and comfortable - one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in! The kitchen is really well-equipped and we had everything we needed for an amazing week in North Wales. Communication with the hosts was easy and pleasant, and we appreciated their recommendations and the booklet with leaflets and info on local restaurants and attractions. We really couldn’t have been happier! I’ll definitely come back next time I’m heading to this area.

  • "The house was brilliant and it had everything it should for a family like us, we had to bring our own cot for our 4 months old baby but that's not a negative for us at all as we would do it anyway."

It's close to pubs and restaurants and you can walk down the city wall to visit the castle. The staff was on the phone every time we needed them. We had very relaxing holidays there and the people in Conwy were very friendly. I would give more stars if I could.

Thank you very much for the feedback and we’re so pleased that you and the family had a good stay. We love Conwy, like you say, everything is on the doorstep! Hope you all come again soon!! Property Owner

  • "The accomodation is beautiful and we particularly enjoyed using the large balcony."

The thoughful gifts [bara brith, wine]were a lovely touch and you have introduced us to a really excellent brand[Jam Shed]. Unfortunately the handrail on the stairs was unsafe during our stay which was a little stressful[ although the owners made us aware in advance and did attempt to fix it] One other point of feedback was that the double bed is a little small for tall people! But really comfy, and stylish as is the entire property. I love the bathroom tiles! It's also conveniently located for everything in Conwy. I would definitely recommend a stay here

About the location

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
