  • "We felt so at home here."

A lovely secluded house with a lovely garden view of Conwy castle. This place is lovely and so close to Conwy town centre. Faultless!

  • "Lovely holiday cottage, very warm and homely."

Added bonus of a smart TV as well which wasn't listed. Enjoyed the 10 min walk into conwy.

  • "Had a lovely stay at the cottage, dog loved the big garden."

Handy to have a dishwasher - saved on washing up!! Great location, so close to walking into Conwy and enjoying the surroundings there too.

  • "It is a wonderful house, bigger than our own, easy to keep warm efficiently, lovely views, very good value for money, very comfy beds, lots of room."

Only issue was that in the high winds during the week, the bins could not be moved into a sheltered position, so they did crash including once at 3am, which I had to go and sort out.

  • "Location of house was excellent, with commanding views of Conwy and the surrounding hills."

There were lovely walks nearby, down to the castle and estuary which our dog loved! Lovely facilities in the house; comfortable bed - with a pop up tv!, living room tv was very large and was a "smart tv" which meant we could catch up and watch anything. Good kitchen, bathroom and relaxed feel overall and great to have an enclosed rear garden, an asset for our dog! We plan to come back again, which is the best feedback of all!

  • "It’s a beautiful house with amazing views."

We loved this property, the only thing that let it down for us was the shower and the master bed. However, it is a perfect location for exploring north wales. The house itself is very spacious and the owners next door are lovely! Our pups also had a great time and the fenced garden is an asset. Would definitely recommend this property.

  • "Castle View was a great base to explore Conwy and the surrounding area for the 4 of us and was a quick walk into town."

Facilities as described and there was plenty of space including managing to fit in what I would describe as the world's smallest cloakroom at the top of the stairs ! We found a great Chinese takeaway in Llandudno Junction to help on those days when we'd been out for a full day. We'd certainly book again as it was an ideal size for 4 including 2 two teenage daughters.

  • "Although the owners were friendly and there was everything you needed we found the accomodation to be dated and the beds were uncomfortable."

It was very hilly to reach the property on foot so i think this should be noted in description.

  • "We really enjoyed our week in Conwy."

It was enhanced by staying at this lovely holiday accommodation. The location is suburb, with just a 10 minute walk into the town. Great views from both the front and back. Lovely to see the horses and hens next door. Clean, cosy and warm with all amenities. If it was so good on a cool, wet week in March then it will be fantastic in the summer and be able to sit in the lovely garden. Thanks to the owners who have done a really good job of providing an ideal holiday base. We would highly recommend this house.

  • "This was a lovely break for my husband and our two dogs."

The accommodation was to a very high standard and there were lots of extras that we were not expecting, i.e. a lovely decorated 6ft Christmas tree in the lounge, with a present under it for us. this was in addition to an excellent bottle of wine, chocolates and shortbread biscuits. The views were superb, especially from the back showing Conwy Castle, and on Christmas Eve a splendid firework display from Conwy Castle., which we thoroughly enjoyed. The large enclosed back garden was ideal for the dogs, who I think enjoyed the holiday as much as we did. Will hopefully be revisiting this property in the future.

  • "This is property is in an outstanding location with views of Conwy castle from the rear garden and the master bedroom."

The gardens themselves are outstanding. The rear garden is fully enclosed with plenty of space for the four legged members of your family to stretch their legs. Upstairs the master bedroom has a huge bed with supersoft bedding and a built in TV to boot. Plenty of storage space as well. There is also a spacious twin room available. Downstairs there is a generous hallway with bathroom, dining room (leading to rear garden through French windows) and the main lounge with two large leather sofas and an even larger TV. Through to the very large well equipped kitchen with access to the rear garden. There is only one word to describe this property and I have used it twice already, OUTSTANDING. A big thanks to owners Jordan and Phil, and good luck with your pending happy event.

Like the name would suggest it has views of Conwy Castle and is only a short walk into town. It was clean and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We would happily recommend and stay here again.

About the location

CONWY

Llandudno 5 miles; Betws-y-Coed 16 miles.

Conwy, a World Heritage Site, is without doubt world famous for its historical and architectural heritage, yet at the heart of the town lies a hub of bustling activity. Alongside its ancient festivals and fairs, musical recitals, galleries and historical attractions, there is an array of specialist shops, restaurants and hotels. Built for King Edward I between 1283 and 1287, Master James of St George's design, Conwy Castle remains one of the most outstanding achievements of medieval military architecture. The distinctive, elongated shape, with its two barbicans, eight massive towers and a great bow-shaped hall was perhaps determined by the narrow rocky outcrop on which the castle stands. The town is proud of its historic traditions and celebrates its past by retaining many of these in its annual festivals, events and fairs, including the Honey fair, Seed fair and Gwledd Conwy Feast in October, along with other musical events throughout the year. Conwy is the perfect base for exploring the dramatic Snowdonia National Park, walking unspoilt sandy beaches, or taking in the wonderful scenery on your doorstep. Also within reach are the Llechwedd Slate Caverns, which has the longest zip wire in Europe, and Surf Snowdonia is just six miles away.
