  • "Very disappointed to arrive late at night, having travelled a long way, to find that this house was not as described."

This is not a detached property as advertised but a semi-detached property with the owners living in the other half. Perhaps the listing on Sykes should be worded correctly.

  • "We had a delightful week in this beautiful old barn which has been lovingly converted by the owners who live next door."

With its own gorgeous garden and outdoor space, it is set in a very quiet and peaceful lane in the heart of the Conwy valley. We were able to do some wonderful walks from the door, as well as drive into Snowdonia and to the coast. Only a few from Conwy with its wonderful old castle and walkable town walls, it is also only a few miles from the National Trust’s stunning Bodnant Gardens, the RSPB reserve at Conwy, and the Great Orme at Llandudno. We would like to thank the owners very much for being so generous and helpful, and we would definitely recommend and love to return again if time allows.

We have never received such thoughtful and considerate feedback, both on this website and in our feedback book in the cottage it was such a joy to read your heartfelt feedback. Thank you Property Owner

Lovely welcome touches on arrival - milk, biscuits, fresh eggs. Cottage was beautiful and clean with a gorgeous garden. Beds were very comfy. Log burner made it cosy. Local area is stunning and there's lots to do. The owner Phil was great and on hand if we needed to ask anything (although a visitor pack on how things work in the cottage and local area e.g. local supermarkets/chemist etc would have come in handy). We would not hesitate to recommend the cottage and hope to be back again!

The owners were really friendly and helpful. The accommodation itself was brilliant - tastefully decorated, bedrooms were huge, two brilliant bathrooms, lovely and spacious whilst keeping a cosy cottage feeling. We didn’t get to use the garden as much as we would have liked due to the time of year but this was also fantastic. The location of the cottage is incredible. 10 mins from Conwy, 20 mins from Llandudno and Betws-Y-Coed and easy access to all of Snowdonia’s attractions. We’ve done a fair few of these cottages all around the country and this cottage was certainly up there amongst the best we’ve stayed in. Can’t recommend it enough and I’m sure we’ll be back soon.
