"Lovely bungalow in a great position to enjoy peace and quiet and the lovely ..."
Lovely bungalow in a great position to enjoy peace and quiet and the lovely village of Criccieth Very handy for shops and beach Would definitely recommend
"The bungalow is in an ideal position for visiting the sea front and also town centre in Criccieth ."
The bungalow was clean comfortable and very peaceful . The garden was a good size and great for the dog . We had a very enjoyable week in a beautiful area .
"Thank you for providing a comfortable and well equipped holiday home."
It was a fantastic place to stay with two young children and would definitely recommend to others. A two minute walk to the beach, 5 minutes to the castle and about 10 minute walk to the lovely Dylan's restaurant. Cricieth is a great base for exploring North Wales. Diolch!
"The two single bed squeaked when turning over and getting into beds."
Apart from that the cottage was clean comfortable and well equipped plenty of cups etc it was close to center (once we found the short cut) plus in a quiet area .Would stay there again no problem.
"Real home from home."
Clean, comfortable, easy walk to shops and beach. Every facility in bungalow. Have returned several times, love this place!
"Absolute fantastic week."
We were blessed with hot weather property clean and comfortable Have booked already for next year.
"Great location, 3 min walk to (year round dog friendly) beach."
Quiet with wonderful sunny enclosed garden which made it easy for lazy mornings with dog and kids. Cottage was clean and comfortable. Would certainly stay again.
"Spacious and well equipped cottage, close to Criccieth Castle, beach and all amenities."
Really enjoyed our stay, hope to be back soon.
"A very comfortable and we'll maintained bungalow in an ideal situation."
A beautiful enclosed garden and it is ideal for Lottie the Labrador !!!
"Beautiful setting, perfectly placed for walking the Welsh Coastal Path around Llyn and south to Tywyn."
Comfortable, fully-equipped bungalow in quiet surroundings. Local facilities in Criccieth, with more in Pwllheli and Porthmadog. Highly recommended!
"Smashing holiday let."
Location key, as good access to beach and villiage facilities. Quiet neighbourhood. All needs and more provided for. Dog friendly and safe garden. Neil
"Great property with plenty of space and everything you need for a great holiday."
An enclosed back garden for children or dogs to safely play with a great backdrop and a urprisingly close to the waterfront and Criccieth Castle - 3 minute stroll at best!
"Lovely property close to the beach sited on a quiet back street with easy access to the village, local community garden and restaurant, ideal."
No problems with anything at all, plenty of off road parking, lovely big garden. We'll be looking to re-book
"This is my third time here."
Everything was very clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable and the property is in a quiet location making sleeping easy. The beach is very close by and only a very short drive to the High St.
"Lovely bungalow, it was very clean on arrival, very relaxing and quiet but only ..."
Lovely bungalow, it was very clean on arrival, very relaxing and quiet but only 2min from beach, would recommend mor edrin
"We had a good week at Mor Edrin."
Great location just a few minutes from both beaches, castle and town centre. Great fish and chips at Paddy's Plaice. Plus really nice kebabs from Pizza place in town. Excellent bakery and butchers. Very quiet estate. Maybe too quiet for some? It is in the middle of a retirement area. Great for us and those that like the quiet life. Very dog safe garden- even for the smallest dog. Totally enclosed. Kitchen was very well equipped. Lounge was fine. Sofas ok. Beds comfortable if a little old. WiFi was good. TV reception patchy if the wind was blowing!! The TV isn't a smart one. It has a Chromecast attachment which requires an app. A bit frustrating and fiddly- especially if you're not tech savvy ie me!!!! I would suggest the purchase of a proper up to date Smart TV which would make things a lot easier. Not a major issue though is the weather is fine. Unfortunately the heating was in the process of being converted to gas from oil and it was chilly at times- especially the bathroom as you couldn't dry your towels. Alternative electric fires had been provided. Lots of safe parking. Would we return? Probably yes if we were visiting criccieth again. FYI Criccieth is a lovely seaside town but is very quiet with no amusements, funfair etc. Which we loved but other than pubs and restaurants there is very little night life. Recommended
Thanks for your positive feedback. As an update, the TV reception is now 100%, Criccieth TV and Aerial found a break in the arial cable, now fixed and TV reception is clear, rain or shine! Chromecast is good when you get the hang of it, streaming of apps from a phone or tablet opens a world of possibilities. The heating upgrade is now completed, British Gas have installed a much more up to date system (30/11//2022). As you say Criccieth is a lovely town, with some great eating out options in the various, very welcoming, pubs and restaurants. (JM - Owner) Property Owner
"A favourite spot which we repeat year after year Lovely atmosphere and very convenient accommodation"
Thanks for the feedback comments. And... as an update a new gas central heating system now installed. Best Regards, JM (Owner) Property Owner
"A lovely comfy bungalow with excellent facilities and a beautiful garden."
Great location, within walking distance of the beach and high street. Friendly neighbours. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend Mor Edrin.
Thank you. Good to know you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
"Have stayed in this lovely bungalow several times."
Very clean and comfortable, lovely safe garden, walk to beach and town. Off road parking, great for unloading car on arrival.
Thank you for the feedback, very pleased you enjoyed your stay. Property Owner
"The location of Mor Edrin in Criccieth is excellent, being located in a quiet road with easy access to the beach and also the high street."
It is also a fantastic base for access to Snowdonia with Beddgelert only circa 20 minutes away by car. I know that it can happen to any home owner at any time, but unfortunately we arrived at Mor Edrin to find a note from the owner confirming that the boiler had broken. The electric immersion heater worked well enough for hot water but the lack of central heating on a couple of colder days left the bedrooms feeling a bit cold and damp. The bathroom suffered the most as there was lots of condensation when the bath/shower were used. Also, with no heating or electric heated towel rail available in the bathroom, the towels had to be tumble dried every day which, while not being a real hardship, did mean that you had to remember to allow 30 minutes a day to sort them out. While all of this might sound a bit negative, I would add that my family and I all agreed that we would have no hesitation in returning to Mor Edrin when the heating is fixed. The location and the wonderful garden were absolutely superb.
Thank you for the positive content in your feedback. Some other good news is that the CH boiler is fixed, and CH radiators can be on as needed. Even the Welsh weather is playing ball, and is warmer, after a few cooler days while you were here. Owner Mor Edrin. Property Owner
"Our second stay, short stroll to West Shore and ten minute walk to the town."
Lovely garden to relax in and secure for dogs.
"Nice well equipped bungalow in a convenient location."
"As soon as we walked in it felt like home from home."
Spotlessly clean and very warm,we had to turn the heating down before we could light the fire! I booked it because we have our first ever puppy and I wanted him to experience a real fire and also needed a secure garden. The Prince of Wales was very welcoming and my granddaughter said she had the best steak ever there! The beach is only a stone’s throw away,we were brave and let the dog off his lead for the first time ever,so he,like me,would go back tomorrow if we could!
"Very welcoming cottage, clean and with all facilities!"
Very nice garden!! We had a lovely Christmas,we appreciate the welcome Welsh cake! They can improve with Netflix ,dishwasher and BBQ facilities will be great!
"Lovely bungalow, a real home from home."
We used to live in a neighbouring village, and wanted somewhere homely to stay while we visited family. Ideal location close to the high street in Criccieth, with a variety of shops and amenities. Very close to the beach which was great for walking our dog. The bungalow had everything we needed during the stay. It was clean, warm and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, and it was handy to have the washing machine and dryer in the garage. The rooms were a good size, and there was plenty of local information available for those who don't know the area. There's a lovely secure back garden, and plenty of parking at the front. The neighbours were friendly and we were already aware that this is a safe area for early or late walks/runs in the dark. We'd definitely rebook when we visit family again.
"Excellent location, very clean and had everything that you’d need for a break."
Both the owner and housekeeper were helpful and friendly, ensuring our stay was perfect. We would definitely return.
"This bungalow is in an excellent position for enjoying Criccieth whilst retaining the need for quietness and privacy There is excellent parking ,a very private enclosed garden and it is within easy walking distance of Criccieth town centre or the beach If you choose to travel to the surrounding areas you are in a nice central location We loved the sandy beaches ,promenade walks, friendly cafes."
We were blessed with lovely weather but the bungalow is very cosy and clean and our holiday would have been equally enjoyable had we needed to stay indoors We will certainly revisit
"The bungalow had everything you needed and so close to the beach ."
The garden was lovely and safe for our dog Meg . Plenty of places to visit .Good restaurant s and local shops ...the costal path and beach s are amazing ...highly recommend this holiday
"The property was on a lovely quiet road with next to no traffic which made for a peaceful nights sleep, it is near to the local park, the train station (no noise though) two pubs within walking distance and five minutes to the beach."
Although the decor was a little dated everything worked fine and were all functional, the conservatory and garden were lovely. All in all we all enjoyed our stay, 4 adults one child and a dog, in fact so much we have booked Mor Edrin again for next summer.
"The bungalow was comfortable and well located."
It was close to the seafront and to the high street, and was as described. We would certainly stay there again. One small point, others who had stayed recenlty mentioned a "welcome pack", which we did not receive.
"Really good to have been able to visit Mor Edrin Criccieth after our stay was deferred from last April."
It was as lovely as ever . Thanks Debbie Dennis-Jones
"The enclosed garden was not securely enclosed for our dog"
Extremely well equipped property. Great off road parking
"Mor Edrin is a comfortable, spacious and convenient bungalow, close to the sea and the shops."
The facilities (especially cooker, hob and microwave) and the decor are a little dated. Criccieth is a quiet seaside town. We especially enjoyed Dylan's restaurant, Castle Fish and Chips, and Cadwalader's ice cream. Criccieth is a good base for visits to the Llyn Peninsula (especially Llanbedrog beach and Aberdaron), Snowdonia, Portmeirion and Harlech.
"Lovely clean bungalow."
Gorgeous garden. Very dog friendly. Near to beach shops pubs and chip shop
"Nice property with lovely garden."
It is kept very clean and tidy. The double bed is very soft and sinks in the middle. Television is a smart tv however it has no connection to the internet which means it is only a free view television.
"Bungalow was very clean and comfortable."
This was our fourth visit, and we have already booked for next year.
"A great holiday home for us as we have a toddler and a baby."
Really well equipped, clean and the garden was amazing-we played in it everyday. It had everything we could have needed and is close to the beach, chip shop, High Street and the playground. A bit dated inside but we would definitely return.
"Bungalow very homely and convenient for all amenities It was spotlessly clean ..."
Bungalow very homely and convenient for all amenities It was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed the enclosed garden and easy parking Would definitely book again
"The cottage was lovely and came equipped with everything advertised and so much more."
The extra little touches like the pint of milk and fruit cake on arrival made it really special for us. We all loved the garden and with the cottage being so close to the beach we spent a lot of time there.
"Everything about the bungalow was excellent."
However it added to our dismay leaving on Monday our third day in a AA breakdown vehicle due to problems with the car crankshaft. Local garages were unable to help us
"We really enjoyed our stay in the spacious, quiet bungalow with a good sized , safe garden for our dog to enjoy and I enjoyed using the washing line as we had amazing February weather."
Also met the very pleasant neighbour. The only reason it hasn't got 5stars is because on arrival there wasn't a scrap of loo roll.
"A lovely cosy bungalow which was perfectly located for getting to Snowdonia and just round the corner from the sea."
It was lovely and clean with lots of parking and spaces to sit.
Safe garden for 3year old and 2 small dogs. Well equipped and lovely and warm!
"Exceptionally clean though slightly dated."
Superb location and the garden is beautiful. This more than makes up for any negatives. We have booked again for 2 weeks in 2019. That says it all.
"Clean, comfortable, perfect position."
Dogs welcome.lovely enclosed garden
"Exceptional cottage in great location"
"Great bungalow close to the beach with an enclosed garden which was fantastic for our dogs"
"A fairly modern bugalow which suited us perfectly on this particular holiday."
Clean, comfortable and well equipped. Close to the sea and local high street. Very quiet at night.
"The bungalow was very clean bright and airy and well equipped we loved the garden and the quiet location"
Comfortable. Everything you need in it. Close to.shops pubs and beach. Lovely lovely big garden. Lovely neighbours made you feel.welcome.
"The cottage is in a lovely quiet location close to both beaches, and with a wonderful large garden."
The little breakfast room was delightful, and the whole cottage spacious, well supplied with all one would need, and beautifully clean at our arrival. We will return and would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful location but close to the lovely beaches of this super little town.
"This was a very homely bungalow, situated less than 5 mins from beach, it had everything you needed for a perfect stay, my only recommendation’ the chimney may need cleaning as was starting to smoke a little with open log fire and tap in kitchen sink leaking a little."
I would highly recommend Mor Edrin to others.
"Excellent bungalow with everything that we needed and more."
"Very comfortable and lovely garden ideal for Dougal Dog whose middle name is Houdini!"
!It was very secure and he didn't escape Well equipped kitchen
"Ideal position, spotlessly clean and well equipped."
Lovely garden. Only drawback was an unpleasant damp smell in one of the bedrooms, and my daughter didn't like to sleep or leave her clothes in there. I left a comment in the Housekeeping book.
"The bungalow was very comfortable and clean and perfect for a family."
It was well equipped and there were little extras like lego, a football, DVDs and books.
