Very spacious and clean. Oven could do with some maintenance as difficult to use. Oven only worked with timer on. Having said that we managed to cook a full Christmas dinner for 12 with a bit of jiggling around. Views from the front bedrooms was outstanding, enjoyed a coffee in the morning watching the sea. Definitely recommend

The facilities were great - particularly the pool room and the hot tub. Everything was well maintained and the rooms were comfortable. The only small area for improvement would be the check out time - we felt a bit rushed on the last day. All in all a fantastic house and one I would highly recommend.

Dear Mrs U, Thanks for your feedback. I’m glad your guests enjoyed using the hot tub. The hot tub maintenance company empty, clean, refill and prepare the hot tub in between every set of guests. Where the booking is for a full week they also perform a chemical check mid week. We’re glad that everything else was to your liking and would welcome a future booking should you wish to do so. • "Lovely property and position -room for all-great views-can walk to beach and castle-had great holiday."

Major drawback is the check out time of 9am-this was changed to 9.30-1000 very kindly by the owner-felt a very short weekend due to early planned departure-I felt the cost did not reflect this-though appreciate my family may not be representative, and less of an issue if staying for longer. Have stayed at other properties for the weekend with check out times of 4pm. Would very much recommend the house however, individual choice re leaving time.

The house was fabulous...as was the weather! We ate on the terrace nearly every day - what a great space. There are beautiful views out over the sea and we made full use of the BBQ. All the family loved the pool table and it was wonderful to be able to walk down to the beach and enjoy the sunshine. We only ate out twice as it was so good on the terrace. We went to Dylans and Poaches. Both were very good but Poachers particularly was super.

The view from the front bedrooms and the top patios is beautiful and there is easy access to the beach and local coffee shops. The hot tub was lovely as we were lucky enough to have great weather and make use of it along with the bbq. there are enough bathrooms to accommodate a large party as well as a large oven and two fridges. the front garden was secure and great for our dog to be able to run around.

We are 3 seperate families with 8 children ranging from 7 to 16. The house catered for us all. So much space for everyone and tastefully decorated and fully equipped with everything you need. The views are fantastic and the large outdoor patio and hot tub was great to relax on whilst the kids enjoyed the games room(s). 2 minute walk to criccieth village and the beach/castle but also a great base for exploring surrounding towns/areas. Perfect break and highly recommend for any large groups.

The house was amazing, fitting 15 of us comfortably, nobody getting under anyone else’s feet. The pool table and hot tub were used and loved by all, and the children loved ‘the den’ on the third floor and the decor is impeccable, every detail thought out and catered for. The views were absolutely beautiful, I will miss waking up to the view of the castle and the beach each morning. There was one small issue of a fire alarm beeping, I called the phone number provided and it was dealt with without any problems. We genuinely loved our weekend here. We are already trying to plan another trip in the future, and we can’t wait. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in such a wonderful place.

The stand out would be the location/ views. The facilities such as Hot tub and BBQ over looking the beach and then the sheer size of the house, very grand and specious. The check out time of 9am would of been a slight pain if it wasn’t for such good accommodation from the owner for allowing us a 10:30 check out. Having to be up and cleaning at 8am on a bank holiday Monday wouldn’t of been ideal so we’re all very happy this was pushed back. We were lucky enough to secure a booking at Bryn Eglwys this summer for a large family holiday after many months of not being able to see each other and to celebrate my parents Golden Wedding Anniversary. The house has been renovated and decorated beautifully and there are lots of lovely design touches, not least the gorgeous variety of wallpapers used throughout the house. The front bedrooms has amazing views but the rest of the rooms are also very comfortable and thoughtfully finished. There are several bathrooms, with fab showers, so there was no queuing up in the morning! The hot tub was well used (and checked part way through our stay) as was the pool table and as the weather was well on our side we had several BBQs during our stay too. The town amenities and beach are within a short walk and we enjoyed a few days in Criccieth as well as rediscovering the gorgeous beaches along the coast including Barmouth and Black Rock Sands. The weather was glorious during our stay so we stuck to the beaches but the Snowdonia mountains are also within reasonable distance for those who may prefer to go hiking. We had a very relaxing stay and it was just what we needed to catch up on much missed family time together. Don't leave without trying an icecream from the Cariad Gelato Piaggio!
