  • "A beautiful house in a wonderful location."

I can’t recommend it highly enough. Cambrian House is centrally located in a beautiful town full of friendly & welcoming people. It is close to lots of wonderful coastal walks & amenities. The house is modern, clean, well kept & generously proportioned. We had a most memorable stay. Thank you. We are going to book again for next year.

The welcome pack of food was a wonderful surprise & lots of extras such as games to play were a real hit. Great position for access to the beach, town, places of interest and sea views. We would thoroughly recommend this property to all our friends & family.

  • "Cambrian House was fantastic, the whole family loved the house."

The views from the windows were fantastic. The house had everything you could wish for. The lights on the top floor were out when we got there, phoned Joanne, name in the the info book provided on site and someone was round in 10 minutes to fix them. Only issue we had was all of the duvets were duck filled and my daughter is allergic to them, we did ask Joanne if there was an alternative, but she couldn't help so had to go out and purchase a replacement, it might be helpful if this was mentioned in the description and we could have brought one with us. However a fantastic holiday was had by all, thanks Jill

A well laid out property with 3 bedrooms, and ensuite on the ground floor, a gamesroom with pool table. Also a separate toilet and utility area with white goods. On the first floor a large living room, kitchen and dining room with excellent views towards the sea and castle. A 4th bedroom furnished with bunk beds and a seperate toilet and hand wash basin. On the 2nd floor one double and one twin both with ensuites. Ample parking for 5 cars on a slate base together with a gas bbq and decked area. An excellent house for a large family, friends to enjoy a week or so away. Thoroughly recommend!

Only possible downside is the train line being so close but we soon got used to the sound and have already booked again for the same week next year!

  • "Lovely house."

We where a group of 4 generations staying there, 4yrs to 88yrs with our dogs. The property was nice and large, thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable, although husband said he would have preferred chairs for all the dining seating. The train line was great for our granddaughter, she would hear the alarm and run to the window to wave. The train drivers where lovely, either waving or tooting, she loved it. This is not a complaint, maybe a suggestion, a small shelf for toiletries in the shower cubicles would be very useful. We all loved staying at cambrian house and may be booking again in the future.

  • "We had a fantastic stay at Cambrian House, 6 adults, 6 children and a dog."

The house worked very well for us all, it was a bonus that 5 of the 6 bedrooms were ensuite. The village was lovely and we all enjoyed our daily walks around the local area and the beach. The train track was never an issue, actually we quite enjoyed watching the trains pass. As we cooked every night we found the kitchen was missing a few things, chopping boards, tea towels and the top single oven was very slow to heat up. A couple of fold away chairs would of been great to use around the table as we struggled to sit 12 of us around the table to eat. Overall a fantastic week away and a prefect place to welcome in the new year! Book it, you won't be disappointed!! Thank you.

  • "A lovely property in a great location, very nicely appointed."

Kitchen very well kitted out, comfortable lounge and we enjoyed sitting at the juliet balconies looking out over the sea. Unfortunately none of us slept well as although the beds were very comfortable the duvets were far too warm for the time of year. My room on the second floor had twin beds rather than the king sized bed in the property description.

Emma was great at sorting out the issue we had (our fault) with one of the beds needing to be made up when we arrived. She did this quickly and without any fuss or blame on us. My only criticism and it is a very small one is around those that love proper coffee. There is only one cafetière which is a large one. It would be helpful to had a single mug cafetière as well as a coffee measuring spoon. However this did allow me to just buy another one and add to my own collection! We loved it. It was the prefect place to celebrate my 50th Birthday with all the family. It was so spacious and clean with everything we needed! Looking out from the Juliet balcony with lovely views of the coastline and Cricceth Castle and waving at the train as it passed every few hours was one of the highlights, not only for my 6 year old niece but for my mum and dad too! Spotlessly clean, very well equipped and lots of space for us to enjoy a family break together. We first visited back in 2019 just before covid and returning this week is like no time has passed at all, the house is still as beautiful and well kept as it was 2 years ago. The games room in the basement is wonderful to keep everyone entertained and there is nothing better than watching the sun rise over the sea in the big yellow chair in the bay window. We cant wait to book again for 2022.

All I can say is we still had a great time and loved our stay in Cambrian House. We visited Zipworld were we went on the quarry karts. This wasn't cheap but we'd definitely do it again along with the zip wire. The beach is only a short walk from the house with a lovely ice cream shop selling gluten and diary free ice cream. Creccieth Castle is worth a visit, the views from there are simply stunning. The house itself was ideal for our party which was a mixture of age groups from 20-73. The view was great, kitchen had everything we needed, pool table ideal and lovely decking area outside. On booking the house I was a little concerned about the train line in front of the property but I needn't have been as it didn't have any negative impact on us. In fact it was quite a novelty seeing the trains pass by. We'd definitely stay here again and would recommend this house to family and friends.
