  • "Wow this house was incredible."

The views are out of this world. We were blow away with the house it was enormous. 5 bedrooms have en suites and the bathrooms themselves are big. The walls are really thick so when your door is shut you can barely hear anything. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to make a dinner for 10 people. The outside was secure enough for the dogs. The beds were extremely comfy and clean. We will defiantly be back next year. Cricceith is a beautiful town and in a great location to explore the Llyn peninsula. Fee pubs we visited one being prince of wales which was great. We had a fabulous meal at Dylans along the sea front. Can’t wait to return.

Thank you for your kind comments and we look forward to welcoming you back soon Property Owner

  • "The instructions for bin collection are confusing."

We put the bins out as instructed but they weren't emptied. Then we had new bins on Friday which we weren't aware of. We had a problem with a curtain rail which had come down in one of the bedrooms but it was repaired within 24 hours. Thankyou.

  • "A lovely comfortable well-equipped house with wonderful views and a great location."

The recycling boxes are insufficient for a large group which is a problem but overall a very enjoyable holiday.

  • "The house wasn’t spotless when we got there (Rubbish was found behind sofa and one of the bedside cabinets) and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes."

It also felt quite dusty! The recycling was also full to the brim and as it was almost a week before being emptied we we’re struggling for space to store our recycling. House however was lovely and a fantastic location. Ideal for a large family with grandparents. We had a fabulous week! Would def go back and stay!

Thank you for your feedback - we are sorry and disappointed to hear that the house was not spotless when you arrived - the matter has been raised with our housekeeper and this should not have occurred. The recycling regretfully is only collected once a week which is a mater we are unable to resolve but we are pleased you enjoyed your stay and would like to return. Property Owner

  • "Our large family group have had the most amazing stay at Gwynle this week."

The house is perfectly located just up the hill from the beach and has magnificent views. Bedrooms are spacious. Bed linen, towels and other furnishings are high quality and tasteful. The top floor apartment is spectacular. The rear garden is delightful. We have a few maintenence/housekeeping observations that may assist the owner, but none of these affected our stay in any way: 1. The bathroom door on the top floor sticks in the frame and doesn't shut 2. The shower in the top floor en suite was not working (we were informed prior to arrival) 3. No privacy glass in the other top floor bathroom 4. No privacy glass in the shower room attached to the twin room on the first floor 5. Shower head attachment falling off wall in same shower room 6. Bench seat at dining table is not ideal for older guests 7. A number of basic kitchen items missing (eg tongs, fish slice, large serving spoon, pizza cutter, plastic tumblers for outside) 8. The recycling bins were already full when we arrived, and the household waste bin over half full Sounds like a long list of issues, but they are all minor and easily rectifiable and didn't affect our stay in any way. It was a real wrench to leave. We would highly recommend this property.

Thank you very much for your feedback and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay in Gwynle. We are currently waiting for our local builder to address the issues you kindly mentioned regarding the shower and bathroom door - and your comments regarding privacy glass will be addressed too. The kitchen items you listed were all supplied and we are sorry they were not there for you - these will be replaced. We are especially sorry and disappointed to hear about the lack of rubbish disposal - clear instructions are in the property as to how guests should dispose of their rubbish ( re collection times etc) and it is very frustrating when this is not adhered to since it unfairly impacts on future guests enjoyment. • "The shower in the en suite room on the top floor did not work at all, could not get any water out if it."

We used another shower which was fine but it clearly needs fixing.

Thank you for your comment we are asking our builder to look at this problem as we were unaware of the issue and hope your stay was enjoyable. Property Owner

  • "A brilliant property in a superb location."

The decoration and furniture was first class with ample cutlery, crockery, glasses and 'white goods'. There is ample storage in kitchen and bedrooms. All beds were comfortable, clean and fresh with good quality towels and bed linen. There were a few points which require attention from your cleaning staff and their reporting of faults. Overall we had the impression the property had not been cleaned immediately before our arrival as there was visible dust on some hard surfaces and the lounge floor made bare feet dirty, a problem with a 2yrs. old. A number of the bathrooms had issues upon our arrival. On the top floor double bedroom the toilet seat was fitted too far back and loose. The shower cubicle was wonderful but the handheld shower bracket was broken and came away. A small section of the privacy film on the window was missing and appeared to be cut. On the middle floor the shower door of the quadrant shower was off the runners. (this was fixed by the plumber who came to fit the outside toilet which was not fitted on arrival) The mixer tap on the roll top bath had one spoke of the tap top missing (again noted by the plumber and reported) The window in the bathroom has dropped making it very difficult to open, and more difficult to shut. The ground floor bathroom toilet handle is old and loose, I suspect fitted the wrong way round. The rear gate was locked and unusable as the 'key safe' number was not the same as the front door and the new number not provided. The seating in the rear garden was great but, with the exception of the loungers, there was a mix of cushions only one of which was purpose made for one chair. This seems like a long list of 'complaints', they aren't ! They are observations to ensure minor issues are fixed before they escalate into major problems. None of them made any difference to our overall satisfaction with a fantastic property and wonderful holiday. A final couple of thoughts - a rotary line would be useful. In these days of economy a tumble dryer is not the only answer to drying clothes. A few more instructions on how to uses the 'white goods' and the central heating (not that we needed it !)

Dear Miles thank you for your lovely and honest review, I really do appreciate all feedback. I am happy to hear you loved Gwynle and can only apologies for the small teething problems you experienced during your stay and can reassure you and future guests that these have all been looked into and have been resolved. Thank you once again and hope you will return again in the future. Property Owner

  • "We were privileged to be the 1st guests in the property and we were really impressed with the attention to detail in providing comfort for every bedroom at the property."

For us as a large family holiday location it was ideal - with plenty of hot water to rinse off after a swim in the sea which is only 100yds away. Also 2 magificent bath tubs to soak in. !!We were blessed with perfect weather, and the bbq facilities and sun umbrellas in the garden along with sunloungers were great. The top floor allows for 1 part of a family group to have privacy as it has its own living room and kitchen facilities- and the ground floor bedroom and en suite shower room is ideal for less mobile family members. Thank you to the owners for providing such a high standard of accommodation and furnishings. There is plenty of freezer and fridge capacity for large family groups. This is not a "get away from it all" location - but so convenient and views of the bay and sunrise over the mountains were spectacular. It met our needs as as 3 generational family holiday perfectly. We will definitely return.many thanks

Dear Jeremy, I am so glad to hear that you loved Gwynle just as much as we do and thank you for your lovely review. We look forward to your return in the future. Property Owner
