  • "This is a lovely cottage."

It had everything we needed and was clean and well maintained. i would recommend it. my only nitpick for the cottage is there was only one cushion on the sofa. we fought over it at night! Finally, we got a parking ticket on the basis of it not being properly displayed when it clearly was. left me feeling they target people with these passes assuming theyre holiday makers. we didnt want to use it after that. however the cottage was wonderful and we would come again.

  • "Very very welcoming, warm well appointed cottage."

Only downside is the lack of parking next to the cottage for unloading/loading but nothing you can do about that. However free parking is only a short walk away. Very lovely would definitely recommend and return.

  • "Absolutely lovely little property."

Lovely big room, kitchen, table and chairs and nice spacious bedroom with large en suite. All white goods supplied, cutlery, plates ...literally had everything that we needed, and the town has takeaways, local stores, butchers and everything else within a 2 minute walk, and a pub literally across the road. Beach is a 5 minute walk away, and a lovely little castle 5 minutes from that. Other big supermarkets within a 10-15 min drive. Cannot recommend highly enough, and we've already spoken about coming back next year :)

Thank you very much for you positive feedback. Much appreciated Property Owner

  • "What a little cracker of a holiday cottage."

You don't feel like it's a one bedroom cottage, it's more like a tardis. Slept well on the comfy bed, loved the shower. The kitchen is well appointed and the hot tap may is something I thought I didn't need but now I want one. Clean and bright and perfect to explore Cricceth and the surrounds. Well worth a visit.

  • "Beautiful cosy cottage in the heart of Criccieth."

The cottage had everything that we needed and is beautifully finished. All amenities are within walking distance from the cottage and beaches are a short walk. Pretty grassed areas just around the corner from the cottage to walk the dogs as there is no garden. The only thing I would suggest is maybe taking your own bath sheets as the towels provided are very small and I like to wrap myself up in my towel when I get out of the shower. Also the provision of a retractable stairgate would help with keeping dogs downstairs. Thoroughly enjoyed our break and will definitely stay at the cottage again. I could quite easily live in it.

Thank you for your positive feedback. I have purchased a retractable stair gate and it is being fitted today. It would be lovely to have you at the house again. Lorraine Phillips Property Owner

  • "Excellent stay in a beautiful cottage located in the centre of the town."

Shops, pubs and restaurants all around, and the cottage is in a prime position to explore the Llyn Peninsula and surrounding Snowdonia areas. The cottage itself was very cosy and had everything you need for a self catering break. Parking is not available outside the cottage, however a permit is provided for local parking, and there is often additional availability on the high street and side roads. The food was very good everywhere we ate, and the local people were very pleasant and helpful.

Thank you for your positive feedback. We are pleased that you had a good experience Criccieth is a delightful place with a lot of history. Brian and Lorraine Phillips Property Owner

Had everything we needed for a comfortable get away (a home from home). Great location right in the centre of everything. Whilst parking was offsite it was close enough and to be honest we didn't need to use the car for the duration of our stay. Highly recommend.

  • "The place grew on us and yes I see why others mentioned cosy."

The place is very well situated and car parking was ok. We enjoyed our stay despite the rain beating a very loud drumming on the glass skylight in the kitchen this happened only when it rained due to the broken gutter pipe above the kitchen, All normal facilities are provided and it was an enjoyable stay.

  • "We absolutely loved the property."

A location as central as is possible, literally opposite a pub, log burner, a surprisingly spacious bathroom, and very comfortable, everything we could have asked for. There was one slight drawback that the upstairs bedroom reply suffered from the traffic noise from the road outside, which did impact even heavy sleepers. I believe the window is double glazed but if more could be done to reduce that noise that would make it perfect!

  • "Lovely little cottage in a lovely little village."

The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and I really liked the decor. We couldn't get the oven to work which is a bit of a nightmare when on a self catering holiday, but that's down to the complicated instructions and us clearly not grasping them opposed to the oven not actually working (I pessume?) Book restaurants in advance, we didn't as we didn't appreciate how busy they would be at the end of October, which was a bit of a nightmare considering we couldn't get the oven to work! I would definitely recommend this lovely little cottage though, it's situated perfectly for various areas of North Wales being within a 45 minute to 1 hour drive away.

Sorry you found the over difficult. You should have contacted us and we would have helped. We have since had it checked and it is working. Thank you for the rest of your comments. Property Owner

Upstairs especially nice and great bed and shower. Kitchen and bathroom floors could have been cleaner. Sofa and lounge smell a bit of dog - maybe to be expected as dogs mentioned in listing, but might be fixable. Could leave out a few dishwasher tabs for visitors Providing logs for first night would be nice too.

Clean, well equipped and comfortable. Parking was the only issue, though this is a minor niggle. The parking pass was missing however the car park wasn’t very close so it didn’t bother us. We could always find a space just around the corner. Highly recommended, Criccieth is beautiful and a good location for exploring

I do not know when it was lasted cleaned but they did not do a very good job. The bed was so hard we had to go out and buy a mattress topper just to get some sleep. The TV in the front room is nearly on the ceiling so you have to try and lay on the sofa to watch it. Over all not a good stay and would not return to this cottage which is a shame because the rest of the cottage was lovely.
