  • "We had an amazing family Christmas at Nant Y Wyddan, complete with Christmas tree and lights."

The house is extremely spacious with 4 large bedrooms, enough space for all 3 generations of our family. The large kitchen is lovely and equipped with everything you might need. The welcome hamper and card was a lovely touch too. The front window and seating area are amazing! We spent so much time there chilling and enjoying the views. Pool room a bonus we made good use of during the bad weather. All in all a great holiday home.

  • "Very good but a couple of niggles."

Back door would not unlock and kettle leaked. Rung local contact who came quickly but could not fix door. They promised a new kettle the next day but never arrived. Other than this the house was great and would visit again, but do get the back door fixed as it is a second exit in an emergency and if you do promise a new kettle, deliver it

Mr Oades, Thank you for letting me know about the problems you had at Nanty. Whilst we try and make sure that everything in the house is up to standard, we've obviously let you down here. Many apologies that the lock wasn't fixed quickly, and that you didn't receive a new kettle straight away. A spare kettle was put in place on changeover day and a locksmith is fixing the door. Thank you for coming to Criccieth and wishing you and your family a lovely summer. Best wishes, Jude Property Owner

  • "A lovely property with the best views ever and an easy walk to the beach and the town."

There is plenty of room for a big family with good number of tables, chairs, china etc. The Pool room was an added bonus and the garden was great too. We were blessed with lovely weather while we were there and a sunshade for the garden would have been appreciated. The beds were comfortable but we all found the duvets rather warm for a summer let. Criccieth is a great spot and we very much hope to return to Nant Y Wydden next year!

  • "A brilliant property with an amazing view, perfect for our family."

Really well furnished and stocked with equipment, games etc. One minor point, it was great to have a Nespresso machine but would have been good if listed on the website so that we could have brought coffee pods as they aren’t available to buy locally. Overall a superb stay.

Thanks so much for your lovely review. We're really pleased that you enjoyed your stay in Criccieth. You're absolutely right about listing the Nepresso machine on the description, I'd take pods with me too if I knew a property had a coffee machine. I've asked Menai to list it. • "Wow what a wonderful find."

Cottage was spacious, comfy, probably the best equipped I've ever stayed in. It was a real home from home. Its five minutes walk to the beach and the town and has ample parking which is always a bonus. The open fire was very cosy in the cold winter nights and the views of the castle and the sea very special. We found Cricceth such a pretty village and the people so friendly. We will definitely return to this fabulous home Thank you

  • "Wow, wow, wow!"

! What a beautiful find Nant y Wyddan was. Amazing location, photos do not do justice to the views from the property. So relaxing, the views out to sea and the castle are breath taking. The house itself is so spacious, including parking and garden. The kitchen is so well equipped and lots of games to keep you entertained if the weather isn’t kind. We hadn’t stayed in Criccieth previously but Nant y Wyddan will definitely tempt us back.

Emma, Thanks you so much for such lovely feedback about staying at Nanty. We're so pleased you found our house comfortable and had a good holiday in Criccieth. Best wishes, Jude & Steve Property Owner

  • "The house has some real character and is in an excellent location with stunning views."

The house was clean, airy and comfortable to stay in and the snooker room provided a nice break from TV and mobile phones! The lounge/dining room was a very nice room to relax in and there are lots of games to play in the nice large garden for the children. There is a viewing landing which is also a very nice place to sit.

  • "The house is in a lovely position, a short distance from the well known Dylans restaurant and with lovely views of Criccieth."

The kitchen is well kitted out, as are the bedrooms but lighting could be improved. The snooker room is a nice bit of fun and the lounge is pretty good. There is a shortage of opening windows but the real negative is the bathrooms, I can see why there are hardly any photographs. The upstairs shower is very weak. The downstairs shower room reminded me of boarding school in the 70s, very dated. There is easily enough room in the main bedroom for an en-suite and the other two urgently need upgrading.
