  • "Thank you for our time at Cricieth, we were absolutely delighted with the cottage."

The lovely hamper was also much appreciated. It worked out really well for us and was most convenient for going back and forth to the Eisteddfod. There was no problem with the parking although Cricieth was full with visitors. I took a couple of photographs to show to family and friends in case they fancy staying there. We'd like to stay there again in the future as we are very fond of that part of the country, besides which, there is that fabulous shoe shop!! Davies Family

  • "Spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you might need."

Really comfy beds and extra pillows in the wardrobes. Fabulous little picnic bench on the back patio - we managed to use it a few times between the showers! We really enjoyed our week in Criccieth and discovered some great places to eat (Dylans is highly recommended) The shops, beach and train station are all within easy walking distance. Loved it - Thank you!

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Trem Y Mor!"

The cottage was spotless and equipped with everything we needed, and we appreciated the welcome pack when we arrived. Parking nearby was easy and the house is in a great location for the beach and the high street. Great views from the kitchen and main bedroom. We will be back!

  • "Property could have been cleaner but wasn’t dirty."

Pillows need renewing they are really bad quality. Outside furniture could do with being replaced. Brick gate post is loose (didn’t impair holiday but just bringing it to attention) Fabulous location one week was not enough. Thank you

  • "Wonderful location."

The view from master bedroom was incredible. So close to the beach. Parking nearby. Thoughtfully renovated property. Listing was accurate except I don't recall mention of the trainline being at close. Didn't bother us as we live near a train line and this line is quiet but might bother others. I thought bedroom 3 was going to be accessible through bedroom 2 but the adjoining door is an extra one. My kids had fun running laps of the landing and their bedrooms! House was clean 'in the middle' but needed a deep clean into nooks and crannies and skirting boards for my preference, mainly dust but a little mould from damp (it was obvious that this was being managed as just a few specks around windows but wasn't quite to my expectations). Master bed needed a clean mattress protector. I'd expect this to be changed with most bookings. Nothing that would put me off recommending the property overall though. Loads of useful storage in bathroom and coat hooks in kitchen. Lots of hangers (a handful of kid size ones would be helpful). Beds and bedding comfortable. Sitting room comfy but we barely used it as weather was fabulous. Garden furniture was very wobbly and needs repair or replacement, but perfectly placed. For anyone travelling with light sensitive sleepers, you may struggle to black out the bunk bed room as it has a tiny skylight way up high with a thin blind so you can't put a travel blind up. Well stocked for towels, tea towels, oven gloves, soap and some cleaning products. Only thing missing that would have been appreciated was toilet roll. A wonderful last minute holiday choice. Thank you to Sykes for help choosing the property and the owners for a lovely house.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and felt that Trem Y Mor was a wonderful holiday choice. The views are indeed incredible. I apologise that there was some dust on the skirting boards and no toilet roll. We certainly aim to ensure all the basics are provided for your arrival, including a welcome pack with bread, milk etc, and can only assume there was an oversight on this occasion. I will feed this back to the housekeeping team. I'm delighted that you'd be happy to recommend the property and that you enjoyed the fabulous weather! Property Owner

The house was extremely well maintained. It was also very well equipped with basic amenities such as salt, pepper, sugar, dishwasher liquid. The house had comfortable beds, an amazing view from the kitchen and clean restrooms. We were also welcomed with a cute welcome package containing cake, bread and milk. Although they have mentioned that the property does not have parking, there is roadside parking available very close to the property.

I am delighted that you enjoyed your stay. I also appreciate you taking the time to leave such positive feedback. Do think about staying with us again if you are in the area. Many thanks again, Emma Property Owner

There was everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect. Only slight issue was not being able to park outside to load/unload but this was clearly advised and there was plently of parking round the corner. Thank you.

Owners very accommodating when we booked at extremely short notice. Sea views from the back are outstanding. It's clear a lot of care and attention has gone into making this a home away from home. Everything we needed was there. Parking nearby in the town was very easy.

Thank you so much for your feedback. I'm really pleased you were comfortable during your stay and that you found everything to your satisfaction. You are welcome back any-time! Many thanks again, Emma Property Owner

  • "We have just returned from a week's stay in Criccieth and were lucky enough to have this house as our accommodation!"

The house is in a wonderful location, right on the high street in Criccieth. Shops, restaraunts, pubs, takeaways, butchers and cafe's were in really close proximity and it was just a short walk to the beach. Despite being on the high street, it was really peaceful and you couldn't hear much noise at all from the traffic or passers by. The house itself is really well equipped and extremely comfortable. The outside area was lovely, with lots of little birds flying around. We loved the view out of the main bedroom window and the PlayStation was a major plus too! The furniture is all high quality and the rooms have been decorated really tastefully. It felt like a home away from home! If we're being really picky, there are just a couple of small points to make - The house wasn't as clean as we would have liked, there were a couple of stains on carpets, cobwebs / dust in some rooms and there was a lipstick under the main bed (so doesn't look like it was cleaned under there). Some of the rooms could also maybe do with a bit of TLC, particularly painting walls / door frames. Lastly, it would have been useful to have a wastepaper bin in the bedroom with the dressing table and to have been provided with a shower / bath mat, as we had to guess what we could use out of the spare towels. Overall, we had a lovely stay in this amazing house and we would definitely return if we are in the area again. Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback. I'm thrilled that you loved the accommodation and all the local amenities. We aim for you to feel comfortable and I'm pleased it was like a home from home. The coastline is stunning and it's great that you were able to appreciate the view. I'm sorry that housekeeping could have done a better job in preparing the cottage for your stay and I will be sure to feed your comments back to ensure we always maintain the high standards we expect, including vacuuming under the bed. Repainting will also be undertaken at the end of the holiday season. We'd love to welcome you back to Trem Y Mor again in the future and are delighted that you enjoyed your stay ! • "We have really enjoyed our stay at the cottage."

Everything is exactly like you saw on the website which is rare now days. (Only missing the outdoor sitting table and chairs). Heating was ok when we arrived. Cottage is very comfortable, clean and we have everything we need for. Keep up the good work, we will be back!

Thank you for your lovely feedback. I'm delighted you enjoyed your stay and will be pleased to welcome you back. We usually bring the outdoor table and chairs out for the warmer months, but I appreciate that we have had some unseasonably sunny evenings recently and will invest in some sturdy 'all weather' furniture that can be left out in all seasons. Thank you again for taking the time to provide feedback! Property Owner

  • "The house was ideal for our months stay, very comfortable and easy to maintain."

We were lucky enough to be able to enjoy some lovely autumn sunshine on the back patio. Our only comment would to maybe add some anti slip paint on the stairs as both my self and my husband slipped a couple of times on the polished wood . Other than that it was all just great .Thank you to the owners
