  • "An enjoyable stay in an excellent house with everything you need."

Comfortable beds and an excellent location for local walks or short drives to numerous places of interest. It is highly likely that we will use this property again.

Nice welcome pack. Ideal location. Delicious cakes. Owners welcoming.

  • "This was a great place to stay for a family holiday with the kids and grandchildren."

The house was spotlessly clean with good quality bed linen and towels and we were welcomed by fabulous cakes and other essentials. Cooking facilities were spot on and there is a generously sized fridge freezer with a crushed ice machine. Cocktail heaven! Table football and Space Invaders were a good diversion for the odd bout of poor weather. There was plenty to do in reasonable travelling - Kayaking on Lake Bala, a walk up Snowdon, time at the beach and any number of narrow gauge railways. All in all we had a great week and would happily stay again.

A very friendly host. No issues during our 6 nights stay. Would recommend.

  • "The house was very clean, comfortable and well equipped."

There was a lovely welcome pack and occasional supply of delicious local cakes! The owner was very helpful and responsive. The village was lovely and the people extremely friendly. We love cycling and there were excellent cycling routes to Bala, Llangollen and many smaller places. We were really sorry to leave!

  • "House was comfortable and very well equipped with high quality products!"

Ideal location to see North Wales and the owner was really helpful. Would recommend to anyone who wants to visit the area! The welcome pack was amazing the best I have ever had! Included local bakery cupcakes, chocolate, biscuits, coffee and wine amongst other essential things like milk.

  • "The house is a very modern one on an executive estate in the village."

It had all the modern facilities, equipment and comforts one would expect at home. The owner was very helpful when we experienced a blocked shower drain. The village is well placed for the activities we wanted to pursue: sailing on Llyn Tegid at Bala, walks along the Langollen Canal and visits to Bodnant Gardens and the Conwy Estuary RSPB reserve.

  • "The cottage is decorated with high end decoration and appliance throughout."

The place is very cosy and nice. I will dedinitely return again. One thing, if they insulate the games room as its a garage conversion I would rate the house 10/10.

  • "We found the location was perfect as it was not far from A5 the road that leads to all north wales sight seeing."

The house was very comfortable and all the facilities were absolutely perfect for our need. Six adults friends stayed and because of pandemic we cooked at home and drank at home so spent fair amount of time at home in the evenings. We would hire the house again if revisited North Wales. Thank you for the food hamper, the cake was so good.

  • "On arrival the house was extremely clean and well equipped."

The best welcome pack ever. Our two teenage boys enjoyed using the table football and space invaders game in the garage, and were impressed with the speed of the internet. Ken and Jane were very pleasant and easy to talk to. We will definitely stay here again.

  • "The owners are warm, generous and helpful."

We really appreciated the spaciousness of the living area with options to open doors between all 3 areas. Having 3 showers for 8 people was crucial as we had busy deadlines every day and the bath was a godsend to soak in for the few hours between more friends/family arriving. The kitchen facilities and equipment were all there including a knife sharpener!! Most rentals have dull knives and don't have enough kit of the right size to cook for large groups. Beds very comfy and warm bedrooms. Thanks so much!
