  • "Everything thing was perfect again."

This was my second visit. Came with my husband last time but this visit brought my daughter and 3 grandsons. Perfect base for a visit to North Wales. Went to lots of places in a short time. It was cold out but the house was lovely and warm. Great shower, endless hot water, great towels and comfy beds. Just what we needed for a February half term break.

    E. everything a "home" would have. We do have one slight reservation from the female section though, and that was the Bathroom ought to have a "Blind/Curtain" fitted as they felt a little loss of privacy in there when taking a Shower etc. Apart from that it was a hassle free holiday and within places to visit as well.

The house is in a quiet location with a great enclosed garden for us to enjoy with our black lab, we had a minor issue with the internet connection but this was rectified very quickly and did not create any problems for us , generally a great house with actual views of the sea from the bedroom and bathroom while you are having a shower ! , thanks again and we won’t hesitate in recommending this to others.

  • "We had a couple of nights staying at Alwen Drive and the property was generally good and as described."

Although we don't have any complaints as such, it would be remiss not to mention the following minor issues which could easily be fixed. Complimentary wine and chocolates was mentioned in the welcome pack however, there were no chocolates. The downstairs loo had not been flushed when we arrived - as well as being a little unpleasant, it suggests that the toilet was not properly cleaned after the last users? There were some cleaning tabs in a white bin liner - because they weren't in a labelled package I wasn't sure if these were laundry or dishwasher tabs so I didn't use them When I looked for washing up liquid, I found something had leaked into the carry caddy stored under the sink to hold the cleaning products, thereby everything in this caddy had some type of detergent 'gunk' on it, so I had to clean it all down and wash out the caddy. If anyone had used that caddy recently, perhaps they should have noticed this and cleaned it? The shower screen seal leaked causing water to run onto the floor, which then ran towards the door through gaps in the floor where a piece of skirt board had been removed (perhaps because it rotted?). Not an issue to us but I would advise the owner to sort this soon, as the water will be going into the building fabric and could cause more expensive issues over time. On a positive note, the garden was nice and secure for our dogs and having an outside hose to clean them down was useful. The views from the rear were lovely and the house was warm with easy to use heating (essential for us during a wet half term!). Nice location in a quiet residential area, but not too far to walk to the town & sea front (about half hour)

Thanks for your feedback this is much appreciated. We have recently hired a new cleaner who hadn't been informed to leave the complimentary items. This has now been addressed and will be in place in future. We are really sorry about the toilet the property was cleaned the day before your arrival, however on the day of your arrival one of our contractors entered the property to check a tap fitting and decided to leave the toilet in this way. This will not happen in future as we will ensure the property is checked, and if required cleaned again before any new guests arrive. Property Owner

A downstairs toilet too. Lots of storage which you don’t always get in holiday lets and we loved this because you could put everything away for the week and really settle in. The garden was private and enclosed and a bit of a sun trap, unfortunately we went away low season but it would be perfect in the summer. The location is great, close to Llandudno and Rhos on Sea, there’s a Co-Op round the corner and a pub only a mile away. Owners were lovely and left a little treat on arrival. Highly recommend. • "Pros: it’s an absolutely wonderful property in a lovely quiet area near a Co-op, a great BBQ pub & only 15 mins walk to the seafront."

The lounge has two very comfy settees & a smart tv. The kitchen is very modern and well equipped with dishwasher, microwave etc & we loved the little touches like hand wash & the welcome gift of wine and chocolate! Fully fenced in garden with a fantastic view. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable. The upstairs bathroom is modern and the shower is fantastic. All together it’s a modern, well maintained, exceptionally clean property that was a pleasure to stay in for a week. Cons: poor Freeview tv reception but the smart tv has Netflix (you’ll need your own account to sign into) & options like BBC iPlayer etc to watch. There’s no kettle in the kitchen just a one cup boiler which is more environmentally friendly but more hassle to make a cuppa for 4 adults on a morning! Other residents do park In front of the garages so be wary if you’re using it that you may get blocked in.

Thank you for your feedback this is highly appreciated. We hope to see you again in the future. The TV signal has now been fixed and a kettle is now also available. Property Owner
