There is so much to do, just around the formidable Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake), that dominates the local landscape, with all the watersports and walking trails, or perhaps enjoy the views and a game of golf, an upland 10 hole course 1000 feet above sea level.
The area is peppered with lakes and surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery, rivers and waterfalls.
Why not visit Pistyll Rhaeadr, the awe-inspiring 80m single-drop waterfall, or marvel at the industrial ingenuity of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and the breathtaking views?
