We are deeply grateful to the owners Rosie and Julian for coming to our rescue ,as my wife took ill in the night and a ambulance had to be called , she spent two days in A&E at Wrexham hospital and we had to cut our holiday short and come home. TY Bach is a lovely cottage tucked away in the Welsh hillside, we found a great advantage of viewing Google Earth and google earth street view before we left home it takes you right to the drive end on the lane up to the cottage ,be aware if you have a low car you will struggle on the farm road as it is a gravel track. On arrival at the cottage a welcome in the form of a nice bottle of wine was left for us , the cottage was lovely and clean and tidy and the view across the valley is something to die for ,if it is peace and quiet you are looking for this is the place for you , sat in the conservative on a night with a glass of wine viewing TV and dragging yourself away from the views. Reading other reviews people had placed regarding the cooker hob controls and the under floor heating Rosie gave us a demonstration and we managed without a problem.Do go and enjoy I am sure you will agree with us , Many thanks again to Rosie and Julian. Allan and Hazel

A cosy, detached cottage, with stunning views across the rolling Welsh countryside and down the valley, ideally located midway between Bala and Llangollen, a mile from the village of Maerdy, on the edge of the Snowdonia National Park.

This charming cottage, a short distance from the owner's home, offers cosy, open plan studio accommodation, making it an ideal romantic base from which to explore the local area, take long walks, or cycle many of the local trails.

This fully restored cottage, with its quaint shuttered windows, is situated in 47 acres of private land comprising upland grazing and moorland with panoramic views to Snowdon and Cader Idris, and offers a double bedroom, an en-suite shower room, and a well-equipped fitted kitchen with dining area.

A stable door leads to a conservatory with woodburning stove and views down the valley, and the conservatory opens out onto the outdoor seating area, which enjoys the same fantastic views over the valley towards Ty-Nant.

This character cottage is a 20 minute, downhill stroll to the village pub, and has direct walking trails from the fields in front allowing access to numerous unspoilt paths.

It is possible to walk or cycle all the way to Bala, 5 miles away.

The Glassblobbery is very close, or Rhug Organic Farm, with its shop and cafe, is less than 1 mile away.
