The village of Dorrington is just over a mile away and has a very good shop and two pubs, whilst the historic town of Shrewsbury is just eight miles away, with its superb selection of shops, bars, restaurants, children’s indoor play areas and Theatre Severn, which has a wide range of shows, concerts and comedy nights.
Head west and discover the magnificent Stiperstones National Nature Reserve and beautiful Welsh border villages, or take the road south to many attractive Shropshire Market Towns including Church Stretton, Craven Arms and the foodie heaven of Ludlow.
The World Heritage Site of Ironbridge Gorge is just a half hour drive, making this cosy cottage a wonderful base for a varied and fascinating holiday, no matter what time of year you visit.
