  • "We (4 adults 2 kids) had a lovely long weekend at 2 Cae Glas."

The cottage was lovely and warm during our entire stay which was great to come home to after a walk out in the local area. Kitchen facilities are fab, all you need for a family of 6. Only downside was the single bed mattresses were pretty worn and it was a struggle to get a good night sleep with the springs digging into your side, but other than that the cottage was great and we would love to go back again. The owner was kind enough to leave some of the basic things like a handful of dishwasher & washing machine tablets, washing up liquid & sponge etc (so many cottages leave nothing nowadays!) and a bonus bottle of wine! There is so much to do in the area, and the views from the living room & bedrooms are just something else! Would highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking for a base to explore North Wales.

Thanks for your feedback, you will be pleased to know we have replaced the mattress. We’ve also had the decorators in and remodeled the front and back patio, so please do come back and test it out! Property Owner

New kitchen, extremely well equipped. New modern bathroom with fantastic shower. Recommend golf club down the road for drinks, Fairy Glen & The Gladstone for food. Booking advised. Great Orme Tramway is a great experience with fantastic views. Conway Castle is amazing. Aber Falls distillery tour is very interesting and the Wagyu burger in the restaurant @ £14 is great value (they also do breakfasts). Owners were extremely informative and helpful prior to & during holiday. We've already booked for next year and look forward to visiting Anglesey & Great Orme mine.

  • "A comfortable cottage with amazing views."

Conveniently located with most touristy places about half hour drive, we went to Llandudno, Carnarvon, Kayaking at Llanberis, Conwy, a beach by Rhosneigr. There are plenty of beautiful hill walks surrounding the cottage, we ventured up a few mountains and the views were spectacular. The pub just down the road is walking distance and is nice to have as an option. We were a party of 6, this cottage was well furnished, with ample kitchenware to cook for us all. The small patio area was a lovely suntrap and we sat here most evenings enjoying the good weather and playing cards. Would definitely be back to visit North Wales again, and would recommend a stay at Cae Glas to anyone.

  • "2 Cae Glas is comfortable well maintained property which matched our requirements really well."

It’s location and price were also appealing factors. Although parking could have been an issue, we were able to park 2 cars within metres of the house. One bathroom and toilet on the middle floor could potentially be a problem for less mobile customers. However, overall an impressive property with great facilities.

Also we found the re-cycling of waste a bit confusing where we live waste disposal is much simpler.

We’ve listened to your feedback Richard, and now engaged a private waste collector. All you have to do is bag it and bin it, we do all the rest! Property Owner

  • "Lovely little house, very clean and tidy with a well supplied kitchen."

The view from the rear side of the property is fantastic with a great view of the bay across to the Great Orme. Beds were very comfortable, especially after a long day spent walking in the local area - The 3.5 mile route to Conwy over Sychnant pass is especially pleasant. and a very short drive away, the nearby Aber falls is stunning, especially after heavy rain. Location of the house is great with several pubs, takeaways and shops within walking distance. The family (and doggo) had a great week, despite the slightly grim weather and would certainly recommend this property for walkers or just anybody keen to explore the north wales coast. Literally the only problem we came across was the parking, which seems quite limited (unavoidable I suppose, given how narrow the road is outside) and proved to be a bit of a lottery sometimes. Overall, big thumbs up though.
