  • "Another relaxing stay at the cottage."

The bed was so comfy and pillows great. Just the right size for the four of us. It’s an ideal base for visits to local seaside towns. The pub next door serves good food after a big day out. We’ve had a really enjoyable time and will definitely be back.

We had a great time on holiday, I was worried about noise from the pub next door, but there wasn't any, sockets were a problem if you wanted to blow dry your hair, I struggle with mobility so my husband had to bend behind the mirror to plug in, and unplug the TV, the garden needs a tidy up, lots of weeds, the bed very comfortable, I would have preferred a dishwasher, but that's only my laziness

nice and clean. good location, nicely welcomed. everything you need. good internet etc But would not stay again in winter. We had no manual control of the heating. Even though heating was remotely set to 27 degrees ( it never reached 27 degrees - I expect its because its a stone cottage ) , the radiators would go on and off and at times it was just too cold and nothing we could do about it except use blankets in the living room. I understand you don't want heating on full blast - for guest comfort and cost. But in middle of winter every radiator should at least be warm all the time - at times they were stone cold. Try and stay there all day and you will see for your self that it is too cold at times :-) hope to stay again in the summer but will not stay again for our annual Christmas visit to north wales. suggest having couple of electric heaters that guests can use at their own discretion if they want it warmer in winter All the best Paul, Lee and Noah X

They adored the charming comfortable and warm property. The place was clean and had everything you could need . A home away from home. The bedding was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. The shower room is suitable for disabled people. Fantastic pressure on the water as well. The lounge has the most comfortable chairs ever. It’s across the road from the waterfall and close to everything. It would be hard to find fault with this little gem of a property .

Well equipped, very clean, and with gorgeous soft beds. Close to many attractions of North Wales. The road running by this cottage is fairly narrow and can be busy. However, Waterfall road is governed both ends by traffic lights. Traffic is sporadic, so you can pull out with ease, and good timing! I did it last week on a mobility scooter with a dog in tow! Drivers were very polite, gave me a wide berth! Give this lovely cottage a go, it's worth it.

It’s a cute little bungalow and well equipped. We were a bit dubious about booking it at first because it was inland and we like to take the dogs to the beach but it is actually central to loads of dog friendly attractions! And pulling out and in to the drive is not too safe.we had lovely weather while we stayed for a month but because of that the noise from the pub garden next door was disturbing.we spent most of our time with family in the area and parked at the cottage as little as possible, saying all that the owner and her housekeeper are very pleasant and helpful but we will not stay again.

The facilities were very good: nice comfortable beds and lovely bedding. The only small criticism was the lack of an adequately sized chest of drawers in the double room which would have been useful. The steps up to the top of the garden are very steep but I had noted this from photos of the property. The road immediately outside is very busy and extreme care needs to be taken when reversing in and driving out. The waterfall just a few yards away is really pretty and The New Inn does very good food.

The rooms were more spacious than expected, spotlessly clean, had plenty of storage and was equipped to a very good standard with some lovely homely touches. One small issue that we had with the heating (due only to the fact we had a 90 year old with us who felt the chill one cold evening) was sorted within 5 minutes of a phone call to Debbie. Remember to take your slippers as the tiled floor is cold despite the rooms being lovely and cosy. The garden is a real sun trap and completely secure so the dog was able to enjoy it as much as we did. A lovely location, ideal for walking and visits to the coast and surrounding towns.
