The garden to small for dogs. The parking space the next door have alot of cars and seems to park there cars at the side even so there have plenty of room on drive making it very hard to get our car in. Also really you should not have to text to get the heating on.

Nearby is the waterfall which is visually stunning and well worth exploring via the footpath that runs adjacent to the property. Inside the cottage is clean, comfortable and well equipped, a perfect base from which to explore the many delights of North Wales. We have re-booked for two weeks in July.

We had an enjoyable time at the cottage. The bed was so comfy we did not want to get out of it in the mornings! The only criticism we have is that the mats at the side of the bed do move about and also the ones in the bathroom, which could cause someone to slip over if unaware. Ideal cottage for touring North Wales some lovely places to visit a favourite of ours is Betws-Y-Coed beautiful scenery journeying there.

A home from home with all you needed. The homemade cake was an added bonus. Just had difficulty accessing the keys as the numbers had to line up exactly. Fortunately Debbie was on hand very quickly to help. The outside photo needs to be updated as there is a security gate insitu due to new build house behind the cottage. Also this property would not be suitable for those who require wheelchair access. Apart from that I would definitely book again as Dyserth is close to lots of amenities and places of interest. Prestatyn only 2 miles away by car.

Private parking really good. Neighbours very helpful. Negatives. Cottage was booked based on the pictures showing arm chairs with foot stools, which we need. This was not the case. Although nice chairs, we were unable to be comfortable. If you are coming with a dog, although the cottage is dog friendly, the outside area is not so dog friendly. Difficult walking unless you get the car out, due to very little pavements and traffic. The village is lovely, but very hilly, which we would have enjoyed, if much younger!

Everything was perfevt and the king size bed sooo comfortable and my hubby and I loved the free standing bath. The kitchen was well equipped if you wanted to cook, but the New Inn does fabulous food, so does Frankies cafe and farm shop in the village. The waterfalls are a fabulous back drop to the cottage and the sound of the falls are very soothing, plus they do a great scone with clotted cream!! You can leave your car at home and catch the bus right outside for Prestatyn, or even just up to the village. Would definitely recommend this little bit of paradise for either a long or short stay.

The cottage in the main is very good. There is a walk-in level access shower which is good. However, there is a step down from bedroom to bathroom which is quite high. Also there are quite high steps in to both doors and a high step from the car park area on to the pathway to the back or front doors. I expect in Wales to have some hills and steps to negotiate as its hilly and on many levels. However, there is nothing in the description that indicates the presence of steps and I feel it ought to say. I managed and would go again but a wheelchair user would not be able to access and use the property.

Wonderful facilities and extra touches on arrival were very nice and felt homely. Major downfall was a house being built and worked on behind this property which caused some issues when we went to make use of the car (from our allocated space) and also caused some noise too during the days. This was not previously disclosed nor is it shown in photos so was disappointing to us and our expectations. Also closer to the main road than we had thought with no real outside area to what we were expecting from description and photos. Otherwise ideally located to walk about local areas and nature paths.

We took our little dog with us and although there is a pub across the road no dogs were allowed in there, so to be able to have a drink where you can take your dog is a car ride away and of course no drinking and driving so never went out in the evening. The area was extremely steep so walking to the village shops was impossible especially for older people plus no paths to walk on which was scary at times. We had only been there ten minutes when some local asked us to move our car slightly even though the area to park on was a tiny corner in front of the busy road. The cottage was lovely but the location very poor

The shower drowned you when you opened the door to turn it on. Many small things that could have improved our stay, like 1 1/2 toilet rolls for 2 adults for a week, no sample toiletries just old ones that had obviously been there a long time, one small bath and hand towel each, pillows flat as pancakes obviously old, noisy heating that came on at 6.30( who gets up at that time on holiday). Didn,t know how to alter that.

We are sorry to hear that you had problems with the bath & the heating. All heating and plumbing are in good working order at the cottage. If we had been aware of the issue during your holiday, we could have come around and fixed this for you We do supply a starter pack of toilet rolls as a gesture and refill the complimentary toiletries when they empty The pillows will be checked following your comments. • "We had a lovely holiday in Wales."

The cottage was a good base for sightseeing and Dyserth itself a lovely little village with plenty of history and amenities. The cottage itself is right next to the waterfall for which Dyserth is famous. The cottage was as expected internally, clean and comfortable with everything needed for our stay. A delicious cake was left for us by the owner to welcome us. The negative aspect is that although pets are welcome the external area of the cottage is not suitable for dogs. There is no garden to speak of and what there is is open with a four foot drop to the road and a dog cannot be let out on its own. Our dog is small and elderly but does like to potter outside herself. There was no way we could allow this as she would have either jumped off the wall or wandered off. As the cottage is next to a busy road (which did not detract from our stay, by the way) the outcome might not be good. I feel this should be mentioned as holiday cottages accepting dogs are not always easy to find and I admit I was disappointed about the lack of garden. I should have asked about it before booking. Having said all of this I would recommend the cottage itself as an ideal holiday base.
