  • "Listed a King size bed but was only a double."

Had to provide own fuel to keep the house warm. Sykes holidays didn't really help with the issue after I returned, I took 5 means if contact before an acceptable resolution was reached. Won't be using Sykes again.

  • "One of the cleanest cottages I’ve ever stayed in."

Plenty of cutlery and crockery and constant hot water. The heater in the dining room wasn’t working and the owner is in the process of getting it fixed but we could have done with it when we were there. Great location for touring this part of Wales

  • "10 Y Ddol, is a very spacious and well equipped place to stay."

The kitchen is a fantastic space. In a great location for the local beaches. Neighbours are very friendly both sides. Would recommend for anyone wishing to explore the Llynn Peninsula.

  • "Great house decorated and furnished to a high standard with everything you could need in the kitchen including cleaning materials and plenty of nice crockery cutlery etc."

Quiet cul de sac location. A minor issue with the shower was sorted efficiently by owner/Menai. The house was spotless apart from an unfortunate doggie odour in the lounge ( we may have followed a family with a particularly doggie dog) and a dustbin outside that needed cleaning out, both which we fed back and assured would be actioned ( explains just less than full stars)

As seen on previous comments the hot water ( especially in the bathroom sink was far too hot and could easily burn someone, according to the info it is an immersion heater, unfortunately the airing cupboard had a padlock on it because all it needs is the immersion heater thermostat turning down, anyone with children please be very careful

  • "The stay at the cottage was wonderful!"

I really like the atmosphere in which the house was decorated, it is very cozy. The house is fully equipped (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker, good quality pots and kitchen utensils, vacuum cleaner, household chemicals). Thank you for the welcome pack of biscuits, milk and bread, kindling and wood for the fireplace and any amenities such as Alexa, capsules for the coffee maker. I am very grateful for the beautifully dressed Christmas tree, the evenings by the fireplace were very atmospheric. The huge sofa accommodated our whole family and we were free to watch Netflix in the evenings. Thank you for the soft blankets and pillows on the sofa, they were very helpful. The only thing we missed was a mop, I like it when it's clean and when it's raining outside the dogs bring mud into the house, luckily we took a lot of dog towels from home. The tap outside turned out to be very helpful, we could wash our four-legged paws after a walk. The weather was not kind, but the cottage was so cozy that we had a nice time inside. Thank you for the board games, scented candles, ice cubes in the freezer, detergent for the dishwasher and washing machine, iron, fold-out clothes dryer, spices and a welcome book with all important information such as how to light a fireplace (there is no central heating, but the warmth of the fireplace warms the house well , upstairs in the hall there is also an electric heater), where there are nearby shops and attractions around. The kitchen is beautiful, well equipped and huge. The back garden is fenced which makes life easier for dog owners. The neighbors are friendly. I really like the waste segregation system, it is very smart and I would love for it to be like that in our village, because taking care of the environment is important. The house is very clean. The area is quiet and peaceful, the nearest beach is 5 minutes away by car. There is a local shop nearby (3 minutes on foot). All details were pampered and we felt at home. Thank you very much and we wish you many satisfied guests!

  • "We had a fantastic holiday, the cottage was lovely, very clean and very helpful neighbours."

The only problem we had was due to the open plan layout downstairs, there was no way of shutting the dogs in a room. So we had many visits during the night!! Definitely would stay there again, perhaps not with the dogs!

  • "Lovely house in a quiet street."

It was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. It was also well stocked with condiments and cleaning stuff etc. Owner kindly left bread, cake, milk tea and coffee. The neighbours both sides were friendly and helpful giving directions and advising us of the best beaches ands here to eat. The back garden was a sun trap and our dog loved it. Highly recommended. We had a lovely stay!

Great wood burner in lounge. Television with loads on to watch. Very comfortable beds. Location was good to go on walks and visit the area. The ship inn is brilliant for a meal out. The enclosed garden is a sun trap and my dog Elvis loved it. We would definitely recommend this house.

  • "The property is fantastic, a real home from home."

Lovely coastal walks right on your door step within easy reach too. The only down side was the neighbours dog who isn’t friendly at all with other dogs. This led to our usually confident family dog being frightened of going in to the back garden. I know this is not the property owners fault but dog owners should be aware particularly if they are planning a stay with a timid pooch.

  • "The house is beautiful and absolutely perfect for us - do we have a Wi-Fi password though?"

I’m not sure where to check for it, we’ve looked through the very helpful wallet of appliance documents but can’t find anything in there?

  • "Very high standard of accommodation."

Couple of hiccups sorted immediately. A little starter info pack would be really helpful - contact nos, wifi, code, how heating and water works, bin days etc. but appreciate we were the first tenants so that will all come. I have rated accuracy of listing as high even though it was inaccurate for us as it was corrected immediately so won’t impact in future bookings
