My wife and I stayed here for a few weeks in early 2020. It was the perfect place for us to get some quality time together after being apart for a while. The village is really cute, and we got to know the locals during our daily walks down to the ocean. We have been doing cold dips over the last few years, and so jumping into the cold March waters was exhilarating. Lots of nice treks around the area too - we took our weekends to go explore the local hills, valleys and viewpoints. The landscape is incredible - you often expect to see a hobbit scrambling over it on his way back to the shire. The house is cosy and the porch is a great place to grab a cup of tea. We bought our essentials (including local free-range eggs and local home-made cakes) from the shop in the village, and then took a short drive or bus-ride into town for everything else. We'll be coming back one day, for sure!
