The house was wonderfully welcoming & beautifully dressed for Christmas. The owners left treats..even Christmas crackers which were very thoughtful. Everything had be carefully thought about and we found everything we needed to settle straight in. Its a lovely spot which feels secluded & private but close to plenty of lovely pubs, walks & places to visit. We would definitely recommend & revisit. Thanks for having us!

Perfect for dog lovers and families with children Very happy we visited and have already recommended to family and friends if they are considering visiting the Wrexham area.

  • "As a group of adults and a small old westie we had a brilliant stay at Ty Bont."

This beautiful cottage is tucked away from the busy Wrexham Road. A welcome package package of Prosecco, fruit cake, fresh milk along with tea, coffee and sugar were provided and thoroughly enjoyed by all.(such a lovely welcome). The property is well equipped, tastefully presented and is very spacious for a family of 8. Two double bedrooms downstairs and two upstairs. One of the bedrooms upstairs has a 4 piece en-suite bathroom. There is one other bathroom upstairs and one downstairs wc. The lounge, dining room and kitchen flow well enabling family groups to socialise easily. The games room with dartboard, table football and pool table was particularly popular with the guys in our group as the games room also had a fridge to keep their beers in

  • "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here."

Claire and Robin were absolutely lovely and very helpful if we had any questions. A great base to go and have some lovely days out and a great pub about 2 minute walk away. The house itself was beautiful. Plenty of space for 8 people and the games room and hot tub an added bonus which got lots of use. Would not hesitate to book again.

  • "A great location for exploring Wales and the Welsh border."

The barn conversion was beautiful and well equipped. The owners were extremely helpful, friendly and live on site in their home further down the lane. You could hear the traffic noise from the road when in the garden of the cottage, but road noise dropped in the evenings and at night. We would thoroughly recommend this barn conversion, and would certainly visit again.

  • "We stayed at Ty Bont for a week as a family of 8 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

Everywhere was clean and tidy, the bed's were comfortable and the kitchen/dining room was the perfect size for everyone to sit together. The hot tub was amazing and we used it every night as was the games room. Our son who is blind absolutely loved the pool table, it's now his favourite thing to do. There was a second fridge in the games room which came in really handy as we had a large food shop delivered. The cottage was large enough for us to have some space of our own as we were a family of 4 generations with 3 dogs and it did get noisy at times

  • "Amazing! We take trips regularly and this was by far the best home we have have stayed in."

Gorgeous cottage, everything was the best quality, a real home from home. The beds where so comfortable, we even checked where the sheets were from to go purchase them ourselves. We loved sitting around the fire after an evening in the hot tub. The cottage was fenced off so my small dog could wander and felt secure. 6 adults and two children stayed and there was plenty of space, the hot tub and games room where a real added bonus. We mentioned the trip was for my mums birthday and left was Prosecco, chocolate, flowers. There was also bread, tea and coffee. The area was fab, felt secluded and private but was within walking distance of a village and a lovely pub. Couldn’t fault it, would love to come back. Thanks for having us!
