The property

This fantastic detached cottage is deceptively spacious and is set in the popular town of Llangollen.

The owner's have decorated the cottage to a high standard and their own artwork can be found throughout.

An ideal base for friends and family, there is something available nearby to suit all tastes.

On the ground floor is a stunning kitchen which is well equipped and has a small dining area.

An opening lets you see through into the main dining room and out to the garden beyond.

The dining room is full of character with a large table, as well as a breakfast bar and the French doors open out to the patio area.

The lovely sitting room has comfortable sofas and unique pieces of furniture with fabulous, large bi-folding doors which makes this a great place to entertain in the evening with a BBQ on the patio.

There is a ground floor bedroom,which is themed in a Victorian style and has a beautiful half tester bed (similar to a four poster) and a ground floor bathroom which is ideal for any group members who don't want to have to face the stairs, and upstairs are the final four bedrooms, two of which have en-suite bathrooms and one has a Juliet balcony from where you can enjoy the surrounding mountain views and spectacular view of Castell Dinas Bran.

The outside space at this cottage has some extra hidden surprises as down in the lawned area is a shepherd's hut.

This is a delightful hideaway with a futon and basic cooking facilities and is perfect for anybody that wants to enjoy the peace and breathtaking views.

There is also a fire pit with a seating area, so don't forget to bring your guitar!

There is also plenty of parking and a garage which can be used for storage for any watersports equipment you may want to bring with you.

Llangollen is an ideal base with lovely places to eat and drink in the evening and Tannochbrae is set within walking distance of the beautiful wedding venue Tyn Dwr Hall.There are many walking routes and this is a favourite for walkers of all standards and ages.

A stroll along the river or canal is a short distance away.

There are many and varied events held throughout the year, from music and comedy shows to food festivals and antique fairs, even the colourful Balloon Festival is held throughout the year and of course the famous International Eisteddfod is held in Llangollen, where people from countries all over the world join together for a celebration of dance and music.

Llangollen has excellent amenities for watersports enthusiasts, having two excellent watersports companies in the town centre, which offers such things s whitewater rafting, canoeing and gorge walking.

Cyclists and mountain climbers too can enjoy the area and its ideal terrain.

The beautiful Vale of Llangollen, with its dramatic mountain backdrop and boulder-strewn River Dee is the setting for this pretty tourist town, internationally famous for its Musical Eisteddfod. Explore the green valley by steam train or canal boat, or take an exhilarating walk up to Castell Dinas Brân, high above the town, in order to enjoy the breathtaking view. Llangollen offers a good range of pubs and restaurants, as well as many interesting shops. The National Trust properties of Chirk Castle and Erddig are within easy driving distance, while a day-long car trail can take you to visit six of the ‘Seven Wonders of Wales’. Offa’s Dyke Path passes nearby and boasts pleasant walking along the crest of the Clwyd hills, plus the famous Pontcysyllte Aqueduct is 5 miles away, and Snowdonia is less than an hour’s drive.
