  • "This is nice cottage, ideally situated for local places, village was nice and quiet, the cottage had everything you needed, it was a little bit dated/dark for me."

If your over 6ft tall think you would struggle with the bed, the steps are quite steep in the garden for older dogs, the cottage was ok if you want cheap handy gateaway.

Thank you for your feedback. We are surprised by your comment about the bed as it is a kingsize double and is the full length! Property Owner

  • "Lovely cottage in quiet village."

Excellent location for excursions or hikes in the mountains or along the coast. Fantastic beaches nearby. Very comfortable well equipped cottage with all you need. Amazing secure garden great for dogs and sitting in the sun. Comfortable beds. Wood burning stove to keep you warm at night. Has Smart TV, collection of DVDs and games incase of wet weather. Recommended.

  • "Lavender cottage was a lovely place to stay for a few days away from home."

We knew we were going to enjoy ourselves as soon as we saw the handwritten note and welcome gift. Despite it pouring with rain for the whole duration of our stay we had a great time and would be keen to return in the summer months when hopefully the weather may be a little better. The only small issue we had was with the fridge being too cold, freezing our milk and some of the vegetables and that is something to warn others about or to get them to check the settings before they fill it.

  • "We had a wonderful stay in Lavender cottage."

It's in a brilliant position, close to beaches and mountains and even a good hill to walk up behind with a fantastic view. The facilities were excellent with all we needed to cook and enjoy outdoor eating and the garden (which our small dog also enjoyed). Very clear and smooth guidance and key pick-up.

  • "The cottage was beautiful with some lovely original features (along with some modern day appliances too)."

The location was quiet, which suited us, the neighbours were friendly. The garden was well maintained and a surprise at how long it went on for, the dog enjoyed exploring the garden. The local was perfect for exploring the Lleyn Peninsular, we saw the seals and dolphins when we went to Morfa Nefyn.

  • "This cottage is in a beautiful part of snowdonia with spectacular countryside all around and the beach within a short car ride and the owner left some lovely Bara Brith cake for us."

Inside the cottage was perfectly decorated to reflect the traditions of the area, with low doorways due to its heritage. The garden is long but enclosed, with several steep steps up to it but the handrail to these has seen better days. The path is over grown by the neighbours plants but the upper terrace catches the morning and evening sun to enjoy breakfast and dinner. There is also a large steep step up to the bathroom (downstairs) and one up to the kitchen which can catch you off guard and maybe a struggle for someone with knee problems. The king size bed is very hard and we didn’t sleep well after the first night. But the location and the quaint touches balance some of this out. There are local maps, many board games and info about the local area- so that’s all covered. There is a wild swimming spot in Cum Pennant which is signposted from the main road. We found it thanks to a book at the cottage. It’s a trek up but well worth it. We had a good stay and the house was a great base to explore, we will definitely be back to the area.

Thank you for your much valued feedback. We are sorry that the garden was a bit overgrown during your stay in our cottage. A gardener has now been employed to regularly maintain the garden. We are also sorry you found the king size bed was too hard for you. Both mattresses were new for this season and are rated 'medium-firm'. We had hoped that with the memory foam topper we would strike a balance between comfort and support. We are pleased that you found our selection of maps, guidebooks and tourist information useful. • "Really enjoyed our stay ,,well equipped and very clean !"

The bed was very comfy too. Would definitely stay there again . My only nit pick was the garden bushes leading up to the garden needed a little trim back .
