“Property is ideally located for tourists who want to see the attractions of the area.”

The property is lovely, finished to a high standard and their is more than you would expect regarding equipment you might need for a self catering holiday...... no need to worry about dish cloths, can openers, tea towels, there’s enough in the kitchen to do a cordon bleu cookery course! The owner could not be more obliging and diligent in wanting to make your stay a good one and provides plenty of games/ books and things to do on rainy days. A cosy house with more than you could expect ...

Set across three levels and idyllically positioned within close proximity to a range of amenities and attractions, 55 New Street makes for the perfect base for a family getaway to North Wales.

Kick off your shoes as you step over the threshold and enter into the light and airy hallway of your new home-from-home, beautifully-adorned with Victorian tiles and offering a handy storage space away from the main living areas.

Make yourself at home in the nearby living/dining room, flooded with light welcomed in through the traditional bay window, and snuggle up on the plush corner sofa to catch up on your favourite show following a day of adventure, gently warming the sociable space with the glow of the gas fire.

Venture through to the adjoining kitchen, stylishly laid out with a contemporary décor, and make use of the range of modern amenities provided to rustle up a home-cooked meal, loading the dishwasher to assist with the cleaning before indulging in the fruits of your labour at the dining table with seating for four.

Carry the conversation outdoors and soak in the last of the evening sun with your favourite tipple in the peaceful setting of your private courtyard before throwing your holiday attire into the utility room's washing machine as the evening grows dark.

Head upstairs to find two thoughtfully laid-out bedrooms, a double and a twin, alongside a contemporary shower room fit with a spacious walk-in shower cubicle, perfect for washing away the day before snuggling up under the covers.

Ascend a second set of stairs where you'll find the third and final bedroom housing a sumptuous king-size bed intimately tucked under the sloped ceiling, providing a snug and peaceful setting to rest your eyes ahead of a new day.

Take advantage of your central location and take the short stroll from your doorstep into the centre of Porthmadog where you'll be spoilt for choice with the fabulous selection of shops and eateries on offer; treat yourself to a spot of retail therapy before heading to Spooner's Café for a delicious bite to eat served alongside a crisp glass of wine with a remarkable backdrop of the tranquil waters of Afon Glaslyn.

Board a steam-hauled locomotive at the Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways and journey through the picturesque landscape of the surrounding countryside, or if that's not your thing, head to the coast and spend a fun-filled day out at Black Rock Sands beach.

The picture-perfect village of Portmeirion is in easy reach, beautifully decorated with Italianate architecture and home to the enchanting sub-tropical forest of the Gwyllt, stretching over 70 acres of vibrant flowers, landscaped gardens and peaceful lakes; a lovely space to escape the excitement with a leisurely stroll.
