Just returned omg where do I start ...

Just returned omg where do I start Neighbours constantly watching you from the moment you arrive and then complain to the owner and the property Letting company on the first night we went out for a couple of hours for my birthday meal Between 7pm and 9.pm and left the dog in thinking he would be quiet and sleep after the long journey but unfortunately he was barking when we were out We apologise to the owner and the letting company as when we arrived back two hours later I had a message from the owner that said the neighbours had complained to her about the dog and then we received a telephone Call first thing the next day , we did not leave the dog alone again and made sure he went with us everywhere in the day and on the evenings for the rest of our stay. From then onwards we were treated so unfairly by the Neighbours Daughters in the garden were shouted at the next evening at 10.15pm for just talking outside they weren’t even loud and it was a Saturday evening. The house owners were very quick and replied to our text regarding this outrageous issue. Every single time we used the hot tub we were all being watched by the neighbours from there bed room window day or night it was just disturbing. The final straw was two night before we were due to return home we had spent the evening watching a film as a family trying to make the best of what time we had left and my partner and I went up to bed and received a knock on the door at 1.50am in the morning from the POLICE They were invited in and wanted to speak to us both of a reported assault that the same neighbours had called in Of apparent screaming and hitting noises coming from where we were staying which was totally untrue and my partner and I were devastated that some one could contact the police and waste police time with there lies , We both had to write statements and the police even called the Daughters down to check they were ok and they just started laughing at the officers and couldn’t like ourselves believe the police were there. Please do not stay here This was a holiday from hell Upon a call from my partner to the homeowners he was hung up on due to what I have been lead to believe that they claimed my partner was ‘harassing’ them!..strange how they were very quick with specific regard to our kids though don’t you think??? Dismissive regarding the visit from the police generated by the neighbour for reasons unbeknownst to us all!...DESPITE a request sent via text to the homeowner to call at midday to discuss this; which was our breaking point. The owner refused to comment or compensate us any thing just said leave the day before and I will give you one nights refund if you don’t like it HOLIDAY & NEIGHBOURS FROM HELL What a waste of a family holiday quality time and £1,000 Claire Averill
