  • "We were impressed with the cottage."

It is well placed for exploring the local area and is well presented and very well kept. We had an issue upon arrival that was solved quickly and we appreciated the phone calls from both Sykes and the property manager to apologise. There are a couple of very minor suggestions; a light above the mirror in the bathroom, a plug that fits the bathroom sink and bigger bath towels. We would stay here again when in the area.

Thank you for your lovely feedback and suggestions :) Property Owner

Lovely clean place tho few points noted shower not very good water pressure very low, no oven gloves provided Main bed very low to floor, had to sleep in single beds Parking not good, taken outside property whilst we were out so had to park elsewhere Needs a curtain/blind at front door We were only there 3 nights so wasn’t really an issue but sadly we wouldn’t return

Hi Tina, Thank you for your feedback. There is usually ample parking so we are very sorry about your issue. The oven Gloves are in the drawer next to the sink. We will also try to action your other requests. We are very sorry to hear that you won't return, if there is anything we can do to change your mind please let us know. Kindest Regards. • "Everything was spotless and the property was nicely furnished, apart from the sofa and chair which other people have commented about, the back is very low and not the most comfortable."

The website states that there is a fridge/freezer in the property but, in fact it is just a fridge with a small icebox, which was a slight inconvenience to us. Also there was only one small, not very sharp knife and there are no basins for warming food in the microwave. Overall we had a lovely stay though and would stay again.

Hello Elaine, Thank you for your feedback, its really appreciated. We have ordered a new more comfortable sofa and chair set which will arrive this Friday. I will arrange to amend the website description regarding the fridge freeze as there isn't much space in the cottage for a full size unit. We will replace any missing items as in your feedback. Kind Regards. Nikki Property Owner

  • "Lovely holiday home."

Clean, modern and welcoming. Everything we needed for our weeks stay. Yes it’s a main road but the noise didn’t disturb our nights sleep with the windows closed. Would have been helpful to have allocated parking as occasionally cars were parked outside the house but this couldn’t be helped and we managed fine. Would definitely return if we were going back to North Wales.

  • "Few things really."

For, shall we say, your maturer customers it really is not suitable. 1) lounge furniture way to low, by end of stay knees really painful with trying to stand up. 2) the double bed was so low had to pull each other up to get out!!! 3) the top of the stairs,we felt, were really dangerous, miss your footing between steps and you were down the stairs. Whilst on the stairs, they were REALLY steep, really not suitable for maturing customers Does not mention anywhere that it is on a major main road with traffic hurtling up and down all day and night, did not sleep for first 2 nights. Having said all that it was tidy and clean.

Would definitely stay there again (but wouldn't book with Sykes due to customer service issues). The beds were comfy and the cottage had everything that we needed.

The lounge area didn't have enough comfortable seating to accommodate 4 adults.

Hello Sue, Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it :) The ensuite description has now been amended on the website. There is a new sofa and chair set being delivered this Friday. Kind Regards Niikki Property Owner

  • "The location was beautiful and the house amazing."

cleanliness was 10 out of 10. only suggestion would be to take your own hairdryer as there wasn't one. the double bed was comfortable but too low for me and the wooden frame meant that I banged my shins a few times. I did not want to leave the place to return home.

Hello Karen, Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it :) We Have added a hairdryer to the property. We have also put rubber corners on the bed frame so that this doesn't happen again. Kind Regards Nikki Property Owner
