  • "Amazing accommodation very clean, tastefully decorated to a high standard and everything you could need."

Right in the centre of Ruthin with own parking and a fab bakery on the doorstep. Excellent communication with Bethan, nothing was too much trouble. We would highly recommend this property, so don't hesitate to book.

  • "A modern well equipped house with own parking and a very short stroll to the town centre."

Communication with the owner was excellent and the goodies left for us were very well received. The bed was extremely comfortable. Altogether a most enjoyable holiday with easy access to the hills and seaside.

  • "The cottage was perfectly located for our 3-week stay and had all the conveniences we needed for cooking and laundry."

It is a lovely, nicely decorated cottage and Bethan was very helpful in a number of situations. We highly recommend this cottage. The Sykes website booking form was difficult for someone from the US because the information details did not match up with US information. I had to put the postcode in the field labeled "County" in order to submit the booking.

  • "The house is comfortable and stylishly furnished and Bethan provided more extras than you would normally expect."

Nice roomy parking space too. Ruthin has everything you could need within a 5 minute walk (1 minute to Chatwins the baker - don’t bring your diet with you!). Despite being so close to the centre it’s not as noisy as you might expect - the road is mainly used by people visiting Chatwins. I would strongly recommend this property.

  • "A modern house which has been tastefully decorated, comfortable and exceptionally clean."

The kitchens been equipped with everything you could possibly need if you want to self cater rather than go out for meals. Bethan was a pleasure to meet and was most helpful in recommending somewhere to eat in the evening. Ruthin itself is a lovely town with the Co-op being only a couple of minutes walk from the property for any provisions you might need. We had a really enjoyable stay and was lucky to have the best weather so far this year and would highly recommend staying here.

  • "We loved staying at this cottage, everything has been done to such a high standard."

Don’t hesitate to book. Ruthin is a beautiful village with lots of history & quaint shops. I would advise however to book your restaurant’s in advance of your holiday as we found everyone completely booked up. Except the castle inn (Weatherspoons) which was nice but you don’t want to eat at the same place every night. The bakery (Chatwins) across the road was fab for breakfast and great coffee. The co-op is very close and well stocked so handy to pick up any bits you might need. Bethan (the owner) was extremely helpful and quick to respond as needed. We really enjoyed our visit to Ruthin.

  • "Llys Emrys is a fab house right in the centre of Ruthin."

It's beautifully decorated inside and has everything you need! Everything was spotless and cleanliness was top notch (just what we need to see in current times). Bethan, the host was just so tentative and had all questions answered before we'd even arrived. She even told me where I could buy a footstall like the one that is in the living room! Before you start wondering why a footstall - it's a fluffy sheep footstall. I'm a regular to visit Ruthin and will definitely be looking to stay here again.

This house was modern, very clean and every care had been made to make us welcome with all the comforts of home. Ruthin is a lovely market town with enough shops, pubs and places to eat as well as being a good base to visit the surrounding places of interest. The local people were very friendly too. Would definitely recommend this property.

  • "Lovely new house in a great central location of Ruthin."

The finish of the house is very high quality, well thought out and is well-equipped. House was spotless. Bed is very comfortable and I had an excellent night's sleep. Street was very quiet. The biscuits and milk were a nice touch. I felt it was on the expensive side for a two-night stay but excellent value if you're staying for the whole week.

  • "The property was well-thought out and beautifully appointed."

Plentiful linen, fresh flowers and stocked with items that are used more on holiday than at home, such as sandwich boxes. An unexpected bonus was a 'welcome pack' with cake, biscuits and milk. The street was noisy, as one would expect in the centre of a market town on a Bank Holiday, but we were surprised with what a delightful town Ruthin is. Recommendations for eating places and take-aways much appreciated.
