Enjoying magnificent countryside views in Gwernaffield near Mold, Flintshire is this stylish, duplex apartment of The Hayloft.

A superb base for a family of four to explore this part of Wales, The Hayloft rests just moments away from outdoor delights, including a mountain peak, and an array of picturesque settlements.

Upon arrival, park your car in one of the two generous off-road parking spaces, before admiring the beautiful surroundings of the Flintshire country.

Head inside to find a pleasant sunroom, where you can settle down on the seats or continue upstairs to discover a contemporary open-plan living space.

The sitting area is a charming spot, with a woodburning stove's flickering flames warming the space and two sofas welcoming you in front of the TV; why not grab a DVD from the sunroom to watch with your loved ones?

The kitchen is close by and offers sleek, white units that house an array of integrated facilities, giving the space a sleek feel, whilst making for a stylish food preparation area.

When indulgent meals have been whipped up, enjoy them at the neighbouring dining table or out on your private patio under the evening sun.

When day turns to night, head to bed in one of the two bedrooms available, including a double enjoying its own Sky TV with FreeSat and a well-presented king-size; the bedrooms also share access to a fabulous shower room.

Take advantage of the property's delightful outdoor spaces and go on a stroll around the large, shared rear garden, before settling down in the gazebo with a cup of coffee.

The apartment enjoys access to marvellous sights nearby, including the 1,821-ft hill of Moel Famau, the eye-catching Aberduna Nature Reserve, Loggerheads Country Park and the Mold Golf Club!

A pub rests close to the property, however, to access more amenities head to the market town of Mold, where an abundance of eateries can be found, along with amply stocked shops; why not take some time to visit the town's castle site or enjoy a production at Theatr Clwyd?

A day out in Chester is a must, with its fantastic city walls offering a memorable excursion and views of the city's Tudor architecture, The Grosvenor Museum providing an exhaustive look into the city's history, and the Chester Meadows being a lovely area to enjoy a walk along the River Dee.
