  • "Everything perfect about the property but sadly let down by no freezing facilities."

Would normally expect a freezer or fridge freezer compartment to be present in most self catering properties but in a coastal property that attracts fishermen it becomes more of a necessity. Had to throw away frozen food, fishing bait (mackerel etc) and add 10 miles to each fishing trip to buy fresh bait on a daily basis.

  • "Nice stay thank you."

Initially very noisy in the street outside due to not double glazed windows on Friday night but much better other nights. Heaters did not work in main bedroom and hallway but owner dropped off a plug in heater which was great. Some mould in shower floor cubicle was a bit off putting but all rooms were large and spacious, great tv with free view, washer, dishwasher and microwave. Would have been really helpful to have had a clothes aider as there was nowhere to dry clothes. Beds were very comfortable and apartment very convenient for town although whilst we were there, parking was a major problem every time we went out, there was no free parking in any local streets. This could have been as it was bank holiday weekend whilst we were there but meant driving round and round for 30 mins and then walking 10 mins back to flat with shopping etc. which was very annoying. One day we couldn’t find anywhere at all and ending up parking and paying on the car park opposite the museum as that was the nearest! We didn’t like the fact that anyone could access our stairwell from the ice cream shop and all the junk in the hallway and found the stairs quite greasy and dirty although I believe these are being done up soon. However the flat itself was very nice and modern and we had a comfortable and relaxing stay and enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine! Will recommend to others especially if they don’t have a car as would be excellent for them.

Many thanks for your feedback and I am very glad you enjoyed your stay. We have checked the heaters in the bedroom and hall and no faults were found. The mould in the shower is unacceptable and the professional cleaners we employ have been taken to task over this! Free 24hr on street parking is available within 200 metres of the property and on adjacent streets (subject to availability). The stairwell is only available for access to the half landing toilet for Ice Cream Parlour staff. Once the Ice Cream Parlour shuts the stairwell is 100% secure. For the 2024 season we should have replaced the washing machine with a washer drier, had the lounge fitted with secondary glazing (grade II listing) and replaced the carpet throughout in the stairwell. Feedback is always welcome and helps us improve our offering to our guests. Property Owner

Fantastic host catering for all our children’s needs in advance of our stay. This made a huge difference to us. Such a good location! Property was spotless. I will miss the high ceilings and wonderful space. A beautiful apartment to stay in.

  • "The apartment was just as described and all that you could have needed was there."

The bed and the sofa were really comfortable and the rooms were a really large size. There were plenty of takeaways, restaurants and bars near by. The only downside was the area. Lots of traffic noise and drunks on the weekend, but we did enjoy our stay.

Many thanks for your review. We are aware that being situated on the main shopping street, noise can be a problem especially at weekends. We applied to the council for planning permission to install double gazing windows to the front of the property, however as the building is grade II listed and in a conservation area, this was refused. Any replacements would have to be wood, single glazed sash windows as a like for like replacement for those installed in 1877 !! We have therefore taken the only other option available and are in the process of installing secondary gazing units with acoustic glass which will dramatically cut down the street noise. This has now been installed. Property Owner

  • "The main problem was the overnight noise in the main bedroom, but I understand this is being addressed."

Personally I found the twin bed hard - but you can't please everyone! An extra binbag would be useful.

Many thanks for your feedback. Your comments and suggestions are very valuable as we can act on them and make changes which will hopefully enhance the experience of future guests. Property Owner

Lovely and warm in off peak season. The bonus is it's an ideal location, right next to best pubs and restaurants. The sea and pier a hundred yards away. All major shops within walking distance. About the location

LLANDUDNO

Conwy 4 miles, Colwyn Bay 6 miles, Snowdonia 20 miles.

Llandudno lies between two headlands, the Great Orme and the Little Orme and it is these headlands, and the town's two waterfronts, that give this tourist resort its special appeal. The town offers two superb beaches - the North Shore, with its wide promenade backed by an imposing crescent of Victorian hotels and the quieter West Shore with miles of sandy shoreline backed by sand dunes and superb views towards Anglesey. For the best views, however, you can reach the summit of the 679ft Great Orme using either the Great Orme Tramway or by taking an exciting cable car ride of over a mile. The town has an excellent selection of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, as well as Venue Cymru, which is North Wales' premier theatrical stage for opera, ballet, musicals, comedy and visiting orchestras, boasting a programme that is second to none - all this is just a stone's throw from the promenade. Just 4 miles away is the town of Conwy - a designated World Heritage Site. A true medieval gem, Conwy is dominated by a splendid castle and completely enclosed by its well-preserved town walls. Discover miles of sandy beaches along the North Wales coast and excellent walking and climbing in the Snowdonia National Park just 20 minutes' drive away - there's plenty to see and do!
