  • "This is a very special property set in the Shropshire Hills."

Peace & quiet & serenity. Our hosts were amazing! Every little detail for our comfort had been addressed from the scrumptious welcome basket with home made damson jam to yummy chocolates & everything else so food shopping not needed. We were lovely and warm, with all amenities and could just relax away from the madding crowd! Our hosts were very friendly & caring but not intrusive. The dogs and the ponies were so well behaved and appreciated! Would definitely recommend to anyone who wanted peace and a beautiful setting. PS. our hosts had even provided a Christmas tree and lights!!

Had a lovely relaxing break. Everything you could have wished for was in the property. The hosts were helpful and friendly and we had a lovely welcoming basket in the property when we arrived. Ideal for walking and some lovely country pubs whilst out and about ( although there isn't any within walking distance) . Would certainly stay again and would highly recommend it.

  • "Excellent stay."

We had our bikes so we could explore the local area and the owners very kindly offered us storage on days we didn't need them. Very generous and gave us lots of local ideas plus encouraged us to use their outdoor areas. Location was good giving us the option of visiting Shrewsbury, Welshpool and Telford all offering places of interest within an easy drive. A walk to Stipplestones is a must just for the view plus a drive from Church Stretton along the Portway across the Long Mynd is frightnning but beautiful. The fish and chip shop in Minsterley is popular and worth trying (cash only).
