The proprietors had put a lot of thought into the needs of self catering customers. I would give this property and its location a 10 + +

  • "Although the weather was bad we still had a great time, ideally situated to get out and about."

The cottage was fully equipped and comfortable and would highly recommend. Struggled with phone signals but managed to work round that. Owner was on hand and made us feel very welcome including our two dogs.

  • "A very pleasant cottage in the Shropshire countryside near a small town with all the facilities you need."

I think the cottage would benefit if there was a feature fire as heating is controlled from owners home. The bed was low for elderly people. Otherwise well equipped.

Friendly non intrusive owners. Not far to Ellesmere, which is a nice friendly place. Perfect for dog walking. Would recommend.

  • "My only criticism would be that my wife is allergic to cats & dogs."

The bright sunlight did pick up some dog hair which unfortunately caused my wife some discomfort. Hence, unfortunately, in future we would not consider booking a cottage that took animals. Otherwise we have no complaint of the cottage.

  • "Really well presented cottage in a quiet location."

Only issue encountered was the satnav postcode didn't take you to the exact location, once you got your bearings it wasn't a problem though. Overall my family enjoyed the holiday.

  • "So glad we got this little gem."

Took our two grand daughters for a few days away and they loved the twin beds on the mezzanine level. It was central for loads of great places for days out. Even though we were only 30 miles from home it was a different world. So relaxing. Already planning our next trip.
