  • "Property is adequate for a stay however is totally uncomfortable for a nice relaxing holiday."

The beds are singles put together as doubles hard and awful on your back for a decent nights sleep. The futon sofa bed is the most uncomfortable thing to sit on with the tv being high on the wall and totally needs replacing. The log burner was unuseable as the door wouldn’t close and there was no companion set for using it anyway. We were not informed it couldn’t be used which would have been nice to know before we stayed. Oven and kitchen area was not clean, front entrance also dirty when you came into the property. This is the first property we have ever left early from as could no longer stay in it so left three days early ruining our holiday. Would not recommend for others to stay in unless sofa and beds are changed.

Thank you for your taking the time to leave feedback for 22 Glyn Y Mor. We had communication with you during your stay and arranged for somebody to attend the property within 20 minutes however, you had already vacated the property therefore leaving no opportunity for issues to be resolved. We would like to mention that the double bed you refer to is in fact a zip link bed which is actually common amongst holiday lets for the convenience of our guests. We have attended the property following your stay and the fire is in good, working order and there are no issues with the door. If you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us. Property Owner

  • "On the whole the property was lovely."

Just a little TLC required particularly in kitchen. Thermostat on cooker was broken above about 140C. Hence, the meal we bought to cook on our first night was ruined. Light on extractor fan broken. Lights around cooker not working. The above aside, everything else was very comfortable and generally clean Would stay again

  • "This property is in an ideal peaceful location within easy walking distance of a shop, pub and the beautiful Lllanbedrog beach and we booked it as it was within close proximity to our caravan which we were closing up for the winter."

It was clean and warm and the beds were very comfortable. However, on the negative side the sofa bed was one of the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture that I have ever sat on and totally unsuitable for 4 adults, a question that I had asked prior to our visit. The cushions on it were useless and provided no back support at all. As it was late in the season then more time had to be spent inside so this was an important factor. The other negative was the two badly chipped cereal bowls which I noticed were mentioned on a review as far back as May. These were hazardous and totally unhygienic.

Just a little more attention to cleanliness wouldn’t go a miss in terms of cobwebs in every room and the dishes/cutlery all being dirty even though it had been put away. Didn’t put us of our stay and would definitely stay again

Great location, 10 minutes from the beach, 5 minutes from a pub and well stocked grocers and 5 minutes from an excellent restaurant Tremfan Hall The house has all the amenities necessary with comfortable beds and spacious lounge The view from the lounge over a car park is not great but the surroundings make up for it We have been 3 times and intend returning later in the year

  • "We had a great stay and loved the property."

Just a couple of things to let you know which prevented us from giving full marks: Most of the bowls were chipped (a couple quite sharp) and the oven might need looking at because it seemed to get a lot hotter than the temperature we set it at and burnt our food. Possibly a problem with the thermostat?? The freezer door wasn't shutting properly either. None of which would prevent us from re-booking - we just thought it might be useful to know. Thanks for a lovely stay!

  • "Lovely holiday home, nicely proportioned and great having the lounge upstairs."

Meant that nights during the hot spell were cooler. Beds very comfortable and spacious. The apartment is situated in a very quiet neighbourhood…only a short walk to the Beach…..I timed the walk to the Beach at 7 mins on the way down …. Maybe 10 on the way back up. There is a little cut through so no need to walk all the way around. The apartment was clean, nice bedding and towels. There were some Welsh cakes and a pint of milk as a start off…. Nice touch thank you. Shame no dishwasher… but not the end of the world not really anywhere for it to go I understand. If I may pint out one thing……All of the windows really do need a real good clean inside and as specially outside, frames and all…. I opened a window and the inside of frame is quite horrible cobwebs and dirt …. Not nice to see. Otherwise everything is great about this place really loved it. I am sure we will be visiting once again in the future.

  • "Nice quirky open plan property with loads of light in the living area and nice balcony."

Nicely positioned with handy cut through to the shop, pub and beach and beach bar. Just no vacuum which would just help get the sand up and the hot plates a mare to understand and use.

  • "Poor quality sofabed did not work as a couch."

Extremely uncomfortable to sit on, missing back cushion filled in with two grubby scatter cushions. Wood floor in lounge showing bad signs of wear and looked dirty. Ice compartment in fridge iced up and needed defrosting. Lack of kitchen utensils, specifically no collander or slotted spoon. No basic cleaning materials such as cloths. If this had been flagged in the details we would have brought our own. A basic welcome basket of tea, coffee and milk would have been appreciated. Size of balcony was good but maintenance extremely poor: the floor needed re-staining, the door frames were dirty and rusting at the bottom, the balcony rail and glass were greasy and dirty. Quality of balcony funiture was basic and in a poor state: rusty chairs. No sun umbrella or awning so we couldn't use the balcony for most of the day as it was too hot and unshaded.

Hi There, Sorry to hear you had issues with the Sofa bed, it does have a low back but we have bought all new cushions so this will be a lot comfier for future guests. The wood floor does have a darker tone due to the varnish that was originally used but it did need to be freshened up following wear and tear from guests, we have now had this professionally re-done and is no longer an issue. We were busy last year and needed some additional time to complete the necessary works. We have now had maintenance completed and hope you join us again to see the improvements we have made to 22 Glyn Y Mor. Property Owner

Unfortunately the settee was the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever sat on. Television was high on the wall and settee was very low backed. Ended up with sore back and sore neck. Also radiator in bathroom did not work. Rang caretaker, he couldn't help.

The property listing inaccurately states that there is a dishwasher, when there is not. This was an inconvenience and affected our enjoyment of the accommodation. The accommodation is comfortable and well located, but the windows desperately need a clean inside and out,

  • "Really lovely apartment, which was beautifully decorated, clean and well equipped."

Appreciated fresh milk and Welsh cakes on arrival. Minor quibble is the slight damp smell on ground floor and how chilly it became downstairs in the evenings. Also, neighbours having work done, so lots of banging and noise, which isn’t the fault of the owner of our apartment, but caused annoyance and less restful stay. Great location in friendly village and really near the beach and lovely walks. Local shop well stocked but very expensive, though Asda not too far away in Pwhelli. Really nearby are Glynn Y Wyddu pub and Aqua Bar at beach, which were great for food and drinks. Would definitely stay again (would check neighbours didn’t have the builders in!)
