  • "We were looking for a Cottage with a very safe enclosed garden for our little dog preferably with a hot tub for us but the safe garden was the priority we found Brynawelon in Llanbedrog which is conveniently situated between Pwllheli & Abersoch the village has a Beach bar & 2 pubs both serving excellent food at reasonable prices both dog friendly outside & The Ship which is a few hundred metres up the road dog friendly inside as well Brynawelon is a 4 bedroom , 1 family shower room with wc upstairs & downstairs if there is any issue at all it maybe not having a second bathroom for some occupants but we had no issue with it Everything else about the property is more than adequate for a holiday the beds were comfy all rooms were clean & the garden is fantastic as it’s totally enclosed , we also noticed after looking at previous reviews the owner seems to be taking note of anything that is possible to improve e."

    G. the garden does now have lighting should you wish to use the hot tub after dark & the downstairs wc seems to have been renewed recently so my summary is Great properly in a fab location you can walk to the Beach or the Pub We found it well located for visiting Aberdaron , Abersoch , Pwllheli , Caernarfon , Anglesey & even went up as far as Llandudno to catch the Tram up the Great Orme Family of 7 aged from 9 to 59

  • "Loved this property, especially the garden."

Great location, walking distance to beach/pub/local shop. Short drive from Abersoch. Lovely house. Nice sized/comfy rooms with lovely big kitchen and lounge. Plenty of space for everyone and plenty of space on drive for cars! Loved the fenced/gated garden, very safe for the dogs seems as the house is on a main road. Just needed a few bits that weren't supplied which you would expect in the holiday property. (spare toilet role/hand soap/washing up liquid) not end of world, but not ideal when you don't prepare to bring/sharing house with a few people. Would definitely come back! :)

  • "We arrived on a Saturday."

Unfortunately, the house was extremely cold. It took us until Sunday to warm the property as we discovered all the radiators were turned down and the boiler so even after using the thermostat, the place did not get warm. Once this was rectified all was good. The newly installed downstairs toilet broke on Saturday also but a Plummer did attend on Wednesday and swiftly fixed it! The stay was extremely pleasant and the house suited our needs. The hot tub was the icing on the cake! Just would have been nice had the house been prepared prior to our arrival with the heating being turned up.

Thank you very much for your feedback and kind comments. We are very sorry that it was cold when you arrived but glad you managed to warm it up to your liking. We will make sure this won't happen again. Thank you for letting us know about the issue with the downstairs toilet during your stay, we are glad they came to fix this issue. We are glad you enjoyed the rest of your stay and hope to see you again soon. Property Owner

  • "We have just returned from a weekend stay at Bryn Awelon, Llanbedrog."

It was a good location, considering the distance to beach and pub. It was described as a cottage, but in fact is a detached house in a residential area. Although good sized, the bedrooms and toilets in particular were very dated and plain. The downstairs toilet in particular was a very cold and dated room which could have done with modernisation. The kitchen door would not shut (unless it was locked) and neither did one of the bedroom doors, which was a nuisance. We were all happy with the hot tub and rear garden area, which was a nice space to be in. But there was one problem – there were no outside lights at all, which made it very difficult to use the hot tub after dark. In fact it was quite dangerous, and the lack of lighting could easily have caused an accident.

  • "A fabulous house, with large bedrooms and well equiped kitchen."

The hot tub was enjoyed by the 4 teenagers. The well fenced garden was ideal for the dog. Excellent location for the beach and walks from the door. All 6 of us (plus dog) had a fabulous holiday.

  • "The house was absolutely great."

. one over sight on our part was that there wasn’t a bath.. and we had 2 1 year olds amd a 3 year old.. so we used the kitchen sink.. but that was our fault for not checking! Had the best time.. would definitely recommend the holiday house.. and will be back ourselves!
