  • "We had a lovely week at Sea Thrift ."

The apartment was spacious and very comfortable . The kitchen was very well equipped and thank you for the welcome basket . The outside area is lovely although the weather during our stay wasn’t conducive for outdoor dining The owner was very helpful and responded to our queries very quickly . . The location is excellent with the shops at Rhos on Sea only 2 minutes away including pharmacy, supermarket , take always , cafes and many quaint gift shops . The fish and chips from The Galleon were absolutely gorgeous . The promenade allows lovely walks to Colwyn bay and to the Little Orme , don’t miss the seals at Angel Bay . Further a field Conwy is a lovely day out .

  • "The property itself is lovely but the attention to the little details makes it a really wonderfully comfortable place to stay."

A lovely welcome basket AND fresh milk on arrival, such a nice touch, lovely plush towels, little reminder notes, Smart TV so you can access your own apps, extra snuggly blankets, great range of fun games, dvds, well equipped kitchen - another few big bowls would be good (for like fruit/ big salad), nice little toiletries in shower, garden furniture for sitting out, plenty of cupboard and drawer space. Owner easily contactable. Was a great stay and I will definitely go back.

  • "The noise transfer from apartment above is not acceptable and needs urgent attention to be resolved."

We have not had this mentioned by any other guests previously and Sea Thrift usually receives exceptional scores for comfort. It is not a residential letting above so I am satisfied that this will not recur, apologies if you were disturbed. We do give out our two contact numbers pre arrival so that guests can contact us with any queries or concerns they may have and Sykes Cottages also have a dedicated help line for guests in properties, as well as a web messaging service. Neither we nor Sykes were made aware of any issues at all during your stay and we are sorry that we weren't given the opportunity to help you. Kind Regards Neil and Becky Property Owner

  • "Wonderful spot, would gladly go back."

Clean and beautiful, excellent position for walking to the beach, but also 10 minutes drive from any fabulous local attractions. Could do with a couple of bins in each room, and perhaps an introduction booklet, explaining all the details of using the house.
